Women's Short Sleeve Linen Midi Shirtdress - A New Day™

Cute cut and style, but it feels like scratchy burlap.

This is my favorite dress that I own currently. It is comfy and so versatile. It’s one of those you throw on when you don’t have time think about an outfit. You can’t go wrong if you wear this.

It runs large, but is super light and comfortable. I have it in two colors, it will be a summer work staple.

The model is shown wearing the white version. What isn’t show is that it is completely see through. You can see the entire pocket making it look like a cheap Halloween costume (which is what my confused husband thought I was wearing). It’s a shame because the fit is good and the other colors are nice. When will they learn that white needs to be lined?

Great dress, very comfortable linen especially after washing. Runs a bit big. Bought a large but I think I could have gotten away with a medium and just lined dry it to reduce shrinkage.

Nice fit, dress it up or down, gas pockets, maybe runs a tad large. I love it so much that I ordered two colors. Looks like an expensive dress and I even got a deal!

I love the length of this dress -- not too long, which may be overwhelming, but also not short, so easier to wear. The bottom portion not having buttons helps to not make the midi length feel too much. I normally wear a M or L in this brand and went for L -- glad I did as it JUST fits. I do think it could shrink a tiny bit, but we'll see. The fabric is a little stiff before washing, so hoping it softens a bit. Otherwise, the fit and style is super flattering, very classic -- a nice in between style of casual and structured.

It also has a collar and a slit in the front. It says that it is a midi length but it seems a little long. The dress comes with a belt that you can tie. I would recommend the dress but you might want to size down to get a better fit. I received an incentive to write this review.

Such a nice dress! Fabric is a thicker linen blend. I bought the black and I did have to size down. I washed and lined dry and it didn't become wrinkly. Great for someone who hates to stream or iron.

This is cute but runs big! I’m usually a medium and the small is even pretty large. It’s long on me too and I’m 5’7’’ so beware if you’re on the shorter side. It is pretty though so I’m debating if it’s too big or looks cute.

I got this in the white stripe and black and I love it in the striped version, but not in the black. The material/fit just seemed off in the black color one, but it's great and summery in the striped. For reference I'm usually a S/M in UT dresses and I got this in a S (since it's a bit oversized like other reviews have said).

I can typically wear a size medium in most women’s clothing and ordered a medium in this dress. I would say this dress fits true to size and is very flattering. Honestly, I thought that it photographed better than what it looks like in person. The linen material was thicker than what I was expecting and felt a little frumpy when I put it on. There is a tie around the waist that definitely makes it more flattering when you tie it snug around the waist. I do love the fact that there were functioning pockets! I think this is a great staple piece for spring and moving into summer, although I wish there were brighter colors as Black is not my favorite. This outfit has the potential to be really nice, but the overall fit and feel was not what was expected. Really liked the material. It was softer, and very comfortable. While everything fit with this shirtdress, it felt very “clunky.” The pockets and the slit look really nice, but it just feels like you have a big oversized t shirt on, but it goes longer than you would expect. I will be returning this and looking for something just as cute, but with a better fit. I received an incentive to write this review.

Love the fit of this dress! It’s the perfect work dress as it’s long enough to not show off my behind if I bed over. The material is extremely comfortable as well!

Must have dress of the summer season this year!!!! I ordered 3…tan, black and white stripe!!! All gorgeous. Heading to Europe over summer and I know I will be packing this dresses!!! They are so comfortable and look so cute with sandals!!!
