Women's Smocked Drop-Waist Mini A-Line Dress - Wild Fable™

I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad, I love this dress!!! The fit is different from what I’m used to but I think it looks adorable. I’m not a small girl either, I’m a size 14 with a belly & definitely curvy. I’m planning to pair it with the Betsey Johnson baguette bag for my birthday outfit! Only removed a star because it’s quite short (I’m 5’6) so I’m hoping I don’t have any wardrobe malfunctions 😆

2 stars for adorable fabric! However, this dress is ~only~ acceptable for women showing off their baby bump. If you have an Italian/pasta themed baby shower, this dress is for you! 🍝 I agree with the other review: this dress was certainly designed by a man. This has the most unflattering midsection design that I’ve ever tried on. Such a pity, as the pasta and veggie pattern is *chef’s kiss!* Will promptly be returning! Catch me trying to track down my self esteem in the meantime. (Size 4: 5’8” 145 lb for reference)

The smocked clenching in the middle of the dress is just horrible. A man definitely designed this. The fabric couldn’t be cuter, that’s why I ordered it but the smocked in the middle accentuates everything in the middle and I mean EVERYTHING.

This is a very cute dress!. I purchased a size Small that fit the best. I also ordered this in a XS, but I felt that one was too short in length on my 5’5” body (not much coverage at all if I sit down). I have a normal size torso, and I am small chested (34B). I won’t be able to wear this with a bra, but will use some nipple covers to manage the very deep V-neck in the front and back. I still think it’s a very nice dress for the price and plan to wear it on a upcoming trip to Italy. For reference, I am 111 lbs, 59 years young, and usually a Size 2. if you’re in-between sizes, I would recommend to probably size up. Also, this dress is 100% rayon, so I would advise not washing it as rayon can significantly shrink when washed in anything but cold water and in a gentle cycle (no dryer!). I’m going to have the dress dry cleaned to keep its shape and size.
