This women's waterproof pull-on boot by XTRATUF offers the Alaska-proven functionality of the Legacy line, but in an ankle-height Chelsea style, creating a new class of deck boot. I just got the legacy ankle boot and I am impressed with them. The sizing is accurate. I wear an 8 and sometimes an 8.5 and the 8 fits well. The finish on the boot looked shiny at first but when I wiped them down they took on a more matt look. Almost like leather. Very attractive. The sole is really solid and gummy. I wore them out in the rain this morning and they feel very grippy on the wet surface. I'm excited to have these in my boot wardrobe.

Overall it’s a great boot, but my toes jammed against the front of the boot, and thick socks won’t work. I wish they had a half size option. I usually wear a 9 with no issues but these are just too tight in the front. I’m sending them back (if I can get the return label to print) and I’ll probably reorder it in size 10. Otherwise, it’s good looking, nice cushion insole, and easy to get on and off.

Not a patent leather look

From the photos I had thought these were shiny like patent leather Mary Janes. They’re just a normal black color. Also there was a lot of moisture in the bags the boots arrived in. Not sure if that’s the “dip” that happens to them. Incredibly comfortable though.

I live on the Oregon Coast and wear these boots almost daily. I destroyed multiple other brands within 6 months but I've had these ones for almost a year with no sign of tears. They've been great for hiking, tide pooling, and are subtle enough for wearing casually. When I finally wear this pair out, I'll just be buying another.

I wear a women's 8.5 and sized up to a 9. The 9 was too large, and I had to reorder an 8. I wouldn't recommend sizing up on this boot. It would be helpful for XtraTuf to note that these boots do not run small to avoid confusion and unnecessary returns.

these boots are incredible. I purchased them in April and have worn them almost every day since, out on the boat fishing and also as a casual boot for walking around and running errands. the foot bed is very comfortable, much more cushion than the regular legacy boots, and I appreciate that the commercial boots are slightly wider than the rec boots. i comfortably wear these for 10-12 hours a day. this black style looks great with normal street clothes. would love additional designs and colors! considering buying another pair

I work in marine husbandry (think aquarium and around/in water all day) ... these boots are amazing!! Unlike cheaper boots that I've tried in the past, these not only keep the water splashed on me out (and my socks totally dry) but I don't slip on wet floors! Plus the soles are supportive enough for being on my feet a lot! I'm in love! They've held up to all expectations! They fit a little loose by design but I much prefer that to any alternative; I ordered my usual running shoe size (women's 8) and they are perfect. Even though they are a little dirty now, these boots are still dope looking :) highly recommend

These run a half size larger & wider than my other Xtratuf boots in the same size 9. Even with a thick sock, these are loose fitting. I wear an 8 in other shoes/boots but wear a 9 in Xtratuf. I also noticed that these “sweatâ€. I left them in the garage next to my other boots and they looked like they were wet from rain or dew in the yard even though it hadn't remained for days. This has happened a couple of times so I have to wipe them off before I wear them. I like the pull tabs on the front and back for easy slip on assistance. They keep my feet dry and are easy to hose off after stomping around the farm. They pair well with jeans for running errands.

Love these xtratuf ankle boots! Perfect for throwing on anytime, especially those days when you never know what you'll be getting into on shore....I do prefer my tall xtratufs when helping my husband on the boat. Short or tall, they are the most comfortable rubber boots around and the only ones that one can wear all day and still have happy feet! Thank you Xtratuf!
