Q: Can the twine be used for cooking?
A: The description says it’s good crafting or for the kitchen. Photo shows herbs tied with this twine which would imply it’s good safe but the Target Support Staff says it’s not ok for cooking use. Which one is correct?
submitted byLinnette - 4 months agoA: It says the twine is made of just cotton. If so it is fine to cook with. ;)
submitted bySme - 4 months agoA: Momma inTx - Thank you for your question. No, this can't be used for cooking. I hope this helps. - Kate

Q: HOW do we replace the twine (remove the empty one and install anew one)? NO instructions provided anywhere.
A: You can replace the twine at any time, by unscrewing the ball on top. It screws right off so you can replace the twine with just about anything on a spool.
submitted byMagicK - 18 days agoA: Hello Rose - We appreciate your interest in this item. To replace the twine in a Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia Wood and Brass Finish Twine Holder, you need to measure the height of the original spool of twine and purchase a new spool of the same size from a supplier of kitchen twine or plain twine. Happy shopping at Target. – Alvin

Q: How to change out current string? No directions on replacement installation.
A: Measure the height of the original spool of twine, and then shop for the same-sized spool from your regular supplier of twine, whether it's kitchen/butcher's twine or plain twine. 200 character limit.

Q: Is this safe for food? Or for decoration
A: Personally I would not use this for food as the twine is exposed and not sealed for packaging, so not clean enough for food use.
