WORX tools are the BEST!
I have several WORX tools. As a woman I can do things that need to be done because WIRX tools are light but powerful. I have had back surgery but still able to use the tools. I like them and so does my husband because I don’t have to wait for him to have time to do it! A win win!!

Mixed feelings
The power is awesome with the two batteries. I wish the trimmer had a button for advancing the line string rather than turning upside down and pressing the button on the turning head. Also the trim line spools are a little expensive. I like the light weight of the trimmer compared to my gasoline powered trimmer.

Spools for Life?
Is there a Spools for Life option for this size? I had two previous Worx models that had the smaller string spools, and had the Spools for Life option. I now have a WG173 Nitro, and would love to get Spools for Life for this also. Thanks in advance!

replacement spool does not lock in place.
Also, the string is wound backwords and does not fit my WG183.9 cordless trimmer. entire contents of the spool lands on my lawn in ten seconds. My trimmer spins in the opposite direction than the arrows on the spool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ease of refilling the string with these spools is one of the main reasons I love the Worx products. Pop off the top, remove empty, install new spool, pop on top and there you go! All set to continue. Best ever.

Bad corded string for battery powered trimmer/edge
Your corded string is poor quality and the method of putting it on your spool apparently has problems. I have had several spools that are useless after some of the cord is used. It breaks because the next section is covered over by tightly wound cord so that it won’t roll off the spool. I can’t even unwind it manually. Also, the cord breaks very easily when edging. Cord on another spool seemed to be melded together as if it had been heated at one spot.

works perfectly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Wife, Son and I recently move to a rental in a small town in N. Ca. the yard needs so much help. I have the Worx lawn mower, but the growth ( some areas over a foot tall ) it is so thick the mowere could not handle it. The string trimmer got the job. it works very well even on the thicker areas. I will be buying these refills for a long time, and I will buy a hedge trimmer soon too.

Forever has been forever!
I have two cordless edgers for two homes and will always purchase workx products! I love working in the yard and rely on my garden equipment working. That said, I have the corded string replacement for life....and have used them!
