Is there a Spools for Life option for this size? I had two previous Worx models that had the smaller string spools, and had the Spools for Life option. I now have a WG173 Nitro, and would love to get Spools for Life for this also. Thanks in advance!

Also, the string is wound backwords and does not fit my WG183.9 cordless trimmer. entire contents of the spool lands on my lawn in ten seconds. My trimmer spins in the opposite direction than the arrows on the spool

Your corded string is poor quality and the method of putting it on your spool apparently has problems. I have had several spools that are useless after some of the cord is used. It breaks because the next section is covered over by tightly wound cord so that it won’t roll off the spool. I can’t even unwind it manually. Also, the cord breaks very easily when edging. Cord on another spool seemed to be melded together as if it had been heated at one spot.

I have the Worx lawn mower, but the growth ( some areas over a foot tall ) it is so thick the mowere could not handle it. The string trimmer got the job. it works very well even on the thicker areas. I will be buying these refills for a long time, and I will buy a hedge trimmer soon too.

I have two cordless edgers for two homes and will always purchase workx products! I love working in the yard and rely on my garden equipment working. That said, I have the corded string replacement for life....and have used them!

If an 80-year old woman can operate this great weed eater, then anyone can!! It is light, has great power and easy-peasy to operate. I had a Worx weed eater that used one 20-volt battery, but upgraded to the 40-volt which uses 2 of my 20 volt batteries. Lots more power! I love it!! It balances so easily and makes it fun work. Very pleased with my weed eater and my blower!!! Thank you Worx!!! P Miller

I enjoy my Worx weed eater and it works just fine. However, having to buy special spools from you all is too expensive and it is too much trouble to hand roll them with my other trimmer string. Had I known it was this was the case I would never have bought it.
