Description
Only $89 for a fully-featured, powerful, compact cordless chainsaw to take on tasks around the yard. Of course, this tool is less expensive because it doesn’t come with a battery. But if you’re already a Worx Power Share user, you’ve probably got a 20V battery at home you can use to power this tool.
The auto-tension and auto-oiling systems on this 10” 20V Chainsaw keep it in tip-top running condition. It prevents against over-tightening, and the 3/8” chain pitch chain will always run smoothly around the bar at 3.7 m/s on account of the optimal lubrication. The 4.5 fl oz oil tank is marked with an oil level indicator, so you’ll know when it’s time to refill. The compact and lightweight construction of this saw means it’s easier to maneuver, and it’s easier to use for those that may have been intimidated by larger chainsaws in the past. The on-board battery gauge will let you know how much charge you have left for the job. And the over-mold soft-grip rear handle gives you good control and is comfortable to use at the same time.
An optional pole saw attachment (WA0167, not included) can be added for up to 10 feet of reach, so you can trim tree limbs with this saw. You don’t need to get on a ladder to cut down problematic branches anymore.

Leaks out Chain Oil
1 out of 5 stars

As other reviewer stated, it leaks out all the Chain Oil. The suggestion from WORX to loosen the oil fill cap does not stop the oil from leaking out completely. What else does WORX recommend? I have purchased many WORX products.

Very Disappointing

This saw is pretty much useless. No power. Can barely cut twigs. Leaked the entire amount of bar oil, more than once. Do yourself a favor, spend the money for a “real” chainsaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to age, I need light weight and ease of maintenance and handling; this saw is perfect for me. I just bought my 12 year old grandson his own saw so he can assist grandma. We both (play) together to clean up honeysuckle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe this little 10" saw was my first (of many) Worx tools. I've cleared brush, cut saplings and even larger trees around my home. Granted, it's not quite as fast as a gas saw getting through the bigger trees, but it is sure does get the job done. I like that it is light weight, and easy to handle. My left arm doesn't work so well anymore after a rotator cuff injury and I don't trust myself with a heavier gas saw. This saw, however, is fine for me to use (as well as my wife). I've taken to carrying this in my vehicle as we are quite rural and trees come down and block the driveway from time to time. Having this available ensures that I can get to work on time. I've also used this to clear the road into our camp when a blowdown blocked the path. Otherwise, I'd have had to impose upon others to come up and cut it. Probably the number one thing I like about this is that it is "ready to go" anytime. No worries about the carb clogging up, gas getting old and the like. Just pop in a fresh battery (and I always carry at least one) and get right to work. If you're looking for a compact, lightweight saw that's easy and safe to use at a moment's notice, I think you'll be very pleased with this one. The chain adjusts effortlessly with a little twist of the knob when needed, and adding bar/chain oil is also easy. Overall, I consider this item to offer excellent value for money. For me, this was the start of a large collection of Worx tools, batteries, and chargers.
Absolutely love this!

This saw really changed my mind from my first review. I had a pear tree in my back yard that was getting out of hand and drawing in a lot of wasps around the fallen pears. It was 30 ft tall with a 14” base and 10 or so offshoots in all directions. This saw chewed through it. It took 6 batteries to get it done. We had 4 batteries between my dad and I and chargers running constantly. The batteries held up well for limbing and trimming but the larger logs really drained quickly. It wasn’t quick by any means but it worked well. The saw was light enough for one hand operation on limbs but 2 on larger logs for added cutting pressure. There was enough brush and logs to fill a 6x12 tandem U-Haul. The only con would be the tensioner needed to be fiddled with as the slack after cutting. It had to totally loosened it off and readjusted. My first review stated the chain stretched. Not sure what happens there. It’s a decent general use saw considering I got it and the blower with air miles. Very handy with enough grunt to tackle a little more than you think it could. Overall much better than I thought it would be.

I needed a small chainsaw that I (68F) could handle to trim tree branches for my yard. This 10” is perfect for me. I love the convenience of being able to interchange 20V batteries with other WORX tools.

Leaks Oil Everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to spread oil everywhere, this is the tool for you. This thing leaks oil like a sieve - and I use real chain oil, not thin oil. As soon as you set it down, you will have a puddle of oil in less than 24 hours. Bought this as a gift, and I am totally embarrassed that I gifted this junk.

Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. We greatly appreciate your feedback as it provides us with a better understanding of where we can improve. It is unfortunate to learn that you have been unsatisfied with your chainsaw. With a saw designed to self-lubricate during operation, a little oil leakage is normal. To help minimize and prevent leakage, we recommend that it is left in an upright horizontal position. To prevent continuous oiling after operation, we recommend loosening the oil cap slightly then tightening it again. Thank you for choosing WORX!

We bought a very wooded, overgrown lot for our RV and a garden last year. While we had the property professionally cleaned, we've had to do much of it ourselves. My husband has many WORX tools, but I wanted the small chainsaw so I could help with smaller chores. He has cancer and can't do everything, and I want to do my share. I love that little saw. The saw is perfect for getting into small spaces and getting those pesky small trees and limbs that are growing on the fence row. It's quick, efficient, easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I don't know what I'd do without it. I still have more to cut.

I have been purchasing these tools for my husband for over 2 years now. We moved into a new house and a lot of the yard had brush and we needed some trees cut down. I purchased him the chainsaw and he loves it. The fact that the batteries are interchangeable with all of the tools is wonderful;. He has gas-powered ones but will only use his works chainsaw now.

Was a little skeptical when my wife purchased chain saw for me. I have found my skepticism unwarranted. Saw is liteweight easy to handle and operate. I am a 71 year old man and this saw was much easier for me to handle. The power was amazing able to use to cut significant sized limbs.

I live next to woods and young trees were beginning to grow too close to my house. I also have very limited storage space. This compact little saw is perfect for cutting down saplings easily and safely. I'm a 73-year-old female and find big, noisy gas chainsaws a little scary. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
