Here are the specs: The 8” bar means you can trim limbs up to 8” in diameter, or chop up fallen limbs that are up to 14” in diameter. The chain runs at a smooth 16 ft/s, with a 3/8” pitch. The oil tank has a 2.8 oz capacity. And the battery takes an hour to recharge with the included charger, so you can get back out there quickly.

Summary of reviews
The pole saw has received mixed feedback from guests, highlighting its cutting power and ease of use for trimming branches. Many appreciate its lightweight design and compatibility with other Worx tools, making it a convenient addition to their gardening arsenal. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the chain coming off frequently and the overall balance of the tool, especially when fully extended. Despite these issues, it remains a popular choice for occasional use in yard maintenance.

CHain constantly jumping off track

would like to give a good review of the unit. it does cut good when the chain is on the track. yesterday I used the saw and in 30 minutes of periodic use, the chain jumped off 5 times. is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello There! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! New chains will naturally stretch out during the first hour of use, and during the initial use you may need to retighten your chain quite frequently. However, the more you use the chain the longer you can cut without having to retighten, just ensure you are not over tightening the chain as this can cause it to fall off as well. Thank you for choosing Worx!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pole saw because I needed one, as I have many trees around my property that needs "pruning" from time to time. I also have several other WORX products, so wanted to add to the collection. However, this saw is so heavy on the saw end, it's almost impossible to hold for very long. I'm a big strong guy, I can't hold it for more than a few seconds. I don't know how anyone can. The further you extend the handle, the heavier and more awkward it gets. When you can actually cuts, it's fantastic. It's the one WORX tool I own that has disappointed me.

We had and enjoyed four Worx products before buying this pole saw: Blower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer (all great); power washer (adequate). We were surprised how much we regret the purchase of the pole trimmer. It's awkward to use, the chain does not stay on, its cutting power isn't great, the lubricant leaks out when it's idle. I am a master gardener and use tools regularly. The pole saw is not efficient and does not contribute positively to the task. We do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chain saw pole and this pole are both different so these tools can't be shared with poles. That makes them poorly designed. Many other makers have made chain saw /pole saw with pruner attachment, and hedge trimmer attachments, plus. I wanted the handy hand chain saw and this to work together. I ended up going with the larger chain/pole saw, but like many others I'm disappointed that the poles aren't sharable. A pruner for this pole would be nice too, but not here. Too many seperate tools that don't work with each other, other than the batteries. I love the pruner too, but no replacement blades? No replacement parts?

I bought this saw to cut down lower limbs on some dying Maple trees around my house. After reading some other reviews about this saw, I wasn't sure if I should buy it. There are several reviews saying the chain comes off, yes that did happen to me, but only once. If it does come off, it's a little bit of a pain to get it back on the track but once you get how to correctly "tension" the chain, it works a lot better after that. So, it was a learning curve for me. It's supposed to have some kind of "auto tensioner", well, if it does, I don't know if mine works or not. There were several times I had to check the chain after cutting, and it seemed loose to me, so much for auto tensioning. You can manually tighten the chain with the knob on the side. It doesn't come with chain oil so be prepared to buy some, but a quart size bottle should last a pretty long time if you're only going to use it a few times a season. I've cut up to 4 inch branches, but there were times the saw would "hang up" and stop, and I had to back the saw out of the cut. Once I got more familiar with it, that didn't happen as much anymore. It's WAY lighter than some other pole saws that are basically a small chainsaw stuck onto the end of a pole. So that's a big plus, however, you still have to find where the balance point is when you raise it over your head. It takes a little getting used to. It's easy to extend but, WATCH out when locking the extension clamps in place, I pinched my finger pretty bad. That won't happen again ! I never ran out of battery power in 2 days worth of use, so that was good. I think it's put together pretty well for the money, it's not professional grade, but for once and awhile use it should do fine for my needs. What's also nice is that it breaks down into 2 pieces, so it's easy to store on the shelf in the shed. I have other WORX lawn tools and it's great that the same battery powers all of them. It's not professional grade, and for this price, it shouldn't be thought of as that. For occasional use, it should be fine for me. The 3 year warranty is also a plus. So far, not disappointed.

After using another brand, I bought this one to match the other Worx tools I own. This is designed poorly and manufactured cheaply. I'm extremely disappointed because I boast about my other tools so much. On the second use, the chain got loose and lodged. I cleaned it up to find the tensioner had broken. Now to try to find a replacement part is aggravating.

Has plenty of power to get through limbs and branches, and has pretty good reach also. I like the self oiling feature and it is easy to adjust the chain tensioner.

I’ve never used a pole saw before, but this tool is mostly intuitive. Where I had trouble (tensioning the chain, one other small issue), the manual solved it. I will say that although I picked the lighter of the two Worx pole saws, I did not at all have the arm strength for working this tool up high in the air. I was able to prune the worst offenders, then put the saw away for another day. Still, I’m sure I would have the same problem with any brand, as my arm strength is not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pole saw is weighted much better than the other tool option (but I guess the other is more versatile). Love the auto-extension. I have another pole saw from another brand, and you have to bring the separate extension pieces, and add manually - this is all in one piece. Only improvement would be if there could be more counter-balance weight or maybe a strap to help holding up high at an angle.

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. Your feedback helps us understand where we can improve your lawn and garden experience. In the owner's manual, please refer to page 14 on how to assemble the chain correctly. Also, know the tension automatically increased while the chain tensioning knob is being turned in a clockwise direction. The built-in ratchet mechanism prevents the chain tension from loosening.
