Description
This WORX 20V 8-inch Pole Saw comes with the Chainsaw Head Attachment, so you can trim, limb, prune and more, easier than ever before. Powerful but lightweight, it’s only 8.8 lbs with the battery attached, so you can wield it without much stress on your hands, arms, and back, and still get a lot done on a single charge. And the innovative automatic, tool-less chain-tightening and lubrication systems make this saw low maintenance, so you can spend your time actually getting the chore done.
This model comes with: Chainsaw head, pole attachment, and bar & chain sheath. Plus, this pole is compatible with our Hedge Trimmer Head Attachment (model WA0308, sold separately), if you want to add that functionality later on.
Here are the specs: The 8” bar means you can trim limbs up to 8” in diameter, or chop up fallen limbs that are up to 14” in diameter. The chain runs at a smooth 16 ft/s, with a 3/8” pitch. The oil tank has a 2.8 oz capacity. And the battery takes an hour to recharge with the included charger, so you can get back out there quickly.

The pole saw offers impressive cutting power and a lightweight design, making it suitable for various tree trimming tasks. Guests appreciate its ease of assembly and compatibility with other Worx tools. However, some have experienced issues with chain tension and weight distribution, which can affect usability during extended periods. Overall, it serves well for occasional use, especially for those with existing Worx products.

WORX Rocks!
I love my WORX tools! This pole saw is much easier to handle than a previous brand I had. The power share feature of everything I have allows me the ability to work for hours with an easy battery change!

Will leak oil
The tool works as expected. However, the oil will leak (known issue from a review 4 years ago) unless you follow these instructions-!!! which are nowhere to be found in the manual!!! Pretty much the whole tank of oil leaked onto my garage floor and made a mess because I stored and treated this saw like my Worx JawSaw. - use only enough oil for the task you are doing - after use remove oil cap to relieve pressure and recap - allow saw to cool before storing - wipe down the saw sprocket area - remove oil from saw before storing - store saw horizontally when not in use If I had known about this issue would I have bought this saw? Probably not because is a problem that could have been avoided and is still being avoided. Worx is sending me a new pole saw because the tech after trouble shooting determined it may be defective. Bought many tools from Worx and this one was disapointing.

Works Well Overall !
Easy assembly and overall did its job. My only issue was the chain popped off a couple of times, and had to stop work to disassemble and place chain back on. I would recommend if you are looking to trim a few trees.

Helpful for 20 Foot Branches
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pole saw has a nice reach. I was able to get to some pretty high branches. Just harder to balance when it is extended all the way. It did the job I needed it to do. I believe it can use about six (6) different WORX share batteris. The only thing I could get information on was the weight of the oil to use. I read the manual about 5-6 times. No information about the oil.

As Much Time Fixing as Cutting
Cool idea but this pole chain saw needs major improvement. Everything I read about the chain coming off is true. I had to completely take apart the tentioner to adjust the chain properly, so it wouldn't come off the track. After I fixed that, it has been working fine for the most part. The chain oil reservoir leaks any way you store the pole saw. Plan to refill the resivoir every time you strore it for more than a couple days.

CHain constantly jumping off track
would like to give a good review of the unit. it does cut good when the chain is on the track. yesterday I used the saw and in 30 minutes of periodic use, the chain jumped off 5 times. is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello There! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! New chains will naturally stretch out during the first hour of use, and during the initial use you may need to retighten your chain quite frequently. However, the more you use the chain the longer you can cut without having to retighten, just ensure you are not over tightening the chain as this can cause it to fall off as well. Thank you for choosing Worx!

I Love WORX tools, but....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pole saw because I needed one, as I have many trees around my property that needs "pruning" from time to time. I also have several other WORX products, so wanted to add to the collection. However, this saw is so heavy on the saw end, it's almost impossible to hold for very long. I'm a big strong guy, I can't hold it for more than a few seconds. I don't know how anyone can. The further you extend the handle, the heavier and more awkward it gets. When you can actually cuts, it's fantastic. It's the one WORX tool I own that has disappointed me.

Don't
We had and enjoyed four Worx products before buying this pole saw: Blower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer (all great); power washer (adequate). We were surprised how much we regret the purchase of the pole trimmer. It's awkward to use, the chain does not stay on, its cutting power isn't great, the lubricant leaks out when it's idle. I am a master gardener and use tools regularly. The pole saw is not efficient and does not contribute positively to the task. We do not recommend.

Power share needs to be pole share as well...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chain saw pole and this pole are both different so these tools can't be shared with poles. That makes them poorly designed. Many other makers have made chain saw /pole saw with pruner attachment, and hedge trimmer attachments, plus. I wanted the handy hand chain saw and this to work together. I ended up going with the larger chain/pole saw, but like many others I'm disappointed that the poles aren't sharable. A pruner for this pole would be nice too, but not here. Too many seperate tools that don't work with each other, other than the batteries. I love the pruner too, but no replacement blades? No replacement parts?

Good tool for the price.
I bought this saw to cut down lower limbs on some dying Maple trees around my house. After reading some other reviews about this saw, I wasn't sure if I should buy it. There are several reviews saying the chain comes off, yes that did happen to me, but only once. If it does come off, it's a little bit of a pain to get it back on the track but once you get how to correctly "tension" the chain, it works a lot better after that. So, it was a learning curve for me. It's supposed to have some kind of "auto tensioner", well, if it does, I don't know if mine works or not. There were several times I had to check the chain after cutting, and it seemed loose to me, so much for auto tensioning. You can manually tighten the chain with the knob on the side. It doesn't come with chain oil so be prepared to buy some, but a quart size bottle should last a pretty long time if you're only going to use it a few times a season. I've cut up to 4 inch branches, but there were times the saw would "hang up" and stop, and I had to back the saw out of the cut. Once I got more familiar with it, that didn't happen as much anymore. It's WAY lighter than some other pole saws that are basically a small chainsaw stuck onto the end of a pole. So that's a big plus, however, you still have to find where the balance point is when you raise it over your head. It takes a little getting used to. It's easy to extend but, WATCH out when locking the extension clamps in place, I pinched my finger pretty bad. That won't happen again ! I never ran out of battery power in 2 days worth of use, so that was good. I think it's put together pretty well for the money, it's not professional grade, but for once and awhile use it should do fine for my needs. What's also nice is that it breaks down into 2 pieces, so it's easy to store on the shelf in the shed. I have other WORX lawn tools and it's great that the same battery powers all of them. It's not professional grade, and for this price, it shouldn't be thought of as that. For occasional use, it should be fine for me. The 3 year warranty is also a plus. So far, not disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the unit one time for 15 minutes; chain came off; tried to put it back on; came off again; 3rd time; not a charm...forget it; I'm returning it. I have other worx products which work fine; not this one; dont' waste your money.

Very Disappointed
After using another brand, I bought this one to match the other Worx tools I own. This is designed poorly and manufactured cheaply. I'm extremely disappointed because I boast about my other tools so much. On the second use, the chain got loose and lodged. I cleaned it up to find the tensioner had broken. Now to try to find a replacement part is aggravating.

Nice Pole Saw
Has plenty of power to get through limbs and branches, and has pretty good reach also. I like the self oiling feature and it is easy to adjust the chain tensioner.
