Description
The Worx WG324.9 20V Power Share 5” Cordless Pruning Saw is the perfect around-the-yard or on-the-go compact cordless chainsaw for pruning bushes, trimming limbs, delimbing fell trees, bucking fell trees, and more. A great tool for chopping up logs for the campfire, clearing a path while hunting, or for just maintaining your property. Full of safety features, like the retractable guard over the bar & chain, and the handle guard to defend against flying debris. This is a less intimidating chainsaw, with a compact, lightweight form-factor that makes it easier to operate and control. But it doesn’t skimp on the specs. The 5 in. bar length is long enough to delimb 4 in. diameter branches if the tree is still standing, or 10 in. diameter branches if it’s already on the ground. But at that size it excels at getting at harder to reach and awkwardly placed branches that a full-size traditional chainsaw wouldn’t be able to easily reach. The chain speed is 18.4 ft./s. (5.6 m./s.) with a ¼ in. chain pitch and 0.043 in./32 links chain gauge. It only weighs 3.86 lbs. with the battery attached and 3.04 lbs. bare. Very handy tool
I am a 78-year-old woman, and very independent. I love to work outdoors and I have several of the Worx tools. I just bought the pruning tool last month and I’ve been using it quite a bit. I’ve trimmed back azalea bushes, I cut down some small walnut and pine branches. It does work that is too big for clippers. It’s a handy tool to have.

Great little tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this quite often around the property. Bought a house with lots of unkept wood and brush around the perimeter. I am a smaller woman and this has been a lifesaver for me. Definitely recommend this. I have managed to clear a lot of unwanted brush and limbs with this.

Uses.
I have this when it first came out and what a time saver it is. Another uses is cutting up thick cardboard boxes that the Zip Snip can't cut. It cuts thru the thick cardboard boxes with easy. Just thinking outside the box or cutting the box.

Great saw, no replacement chains
Saw is great. Been checking and on waiting lists several times for replacement chain since purchased Feb. 2023. Saw no longer cuts till a new chain is available. Odd chain size not available from others.

I bought this because my Zikopomi 6" cordless keeps running out of power. I already have 4 Worx tools and enough batteries, so it was worth a try. First thing I noticed was how heavy it was compared to the Ziko. It's also bulky for me. Besides that, it seems to have more power and it cuts well. I do like that safety button is on both sides. As for durability, not sure. Based on the other Worx tools that I purchased, it's worth a try.

Chain Reaction
Used this for the first time to clean up some yard debris after a recent tropical storm felled a couple of tree branches. I used it for around 2 hours to cut up the debris into smaller lengths for the town's upcoming yard debris collection. I began using a single 2ah 20v battery that was a little under fully charged. By the end of my "session" still had 2 bars remaining on the battery charge. Oiling the bar and chain was a breeze using the supplied oil bottle. Cleaning up the unit after use was very straightforward, taking only a couple of minutes to wipe everything over and reassemble the tool. This is simply an amazing tool that I cannot wait to use again.

I returned this item
I never used this tool. I purchased it thinking it would be a safe tool for me to use, but upon reading the safety precautions and seeing the tool, I returned it. I was too afraid to have this type of tool operating so close to my body. Maybe if it came with an extension...

Great 5" WORX chainsaw
Tried out my WORX 5" chainsaw on large tree branches, thick bush branches and small logs. This saw has plenty of power to get the job done quickly. Cuts are clean and bark is not torn or mangled. It's a great small saw at a reasonable price (like all WORX products) and I recommend it.

Sorry to take so long to respond to your request but the temps here have been high and we waited until a cooler day to use the new tool. We are both in our 80's and because of my husband's 2016 stroke, I had to do the cutting. The machine was light enough for me to handle and although originally concerned it was much easier to use then I thought it would be. Worked easily and great for me to remove some long overdue thick branches in our small yard. The price was VERY reasonable and I would definitly recommend this product to others. I still have one more thick (very) branch to cut down but will wait again until weather cools and will try to get a photo taken next time. Also thank you for the quick response to the order.

Outstanding Little Chain Saw!!
Once again WORX hit a home run with the cordless pruning saw. I opened the box, reviewed the instructions, put a battery on the pruning saw and started trimming some limbs. Also works very good for bucking cuttings for campfires. Keep up the good work, WORX!!

Very useful saw
