Description
This versatile, powerful, and compact 20V ¼ in. Impact Driver was designed to be strong enough to get the job done, yet small enough to get into narrow spaces. So you can bring all this force to places other drills have trouble fitting into. Its motor has been engineered with efficiency in mind, so it wastes little battery while still doling out 0-3300 bpm and 1500 in-lbs. of torque. Control the speed by pulling harder on the trigger, so you can decide exactly how much force each fastener requires. And the forward and reverse switch lets you back out slowly, too. The quality-of-life features on this drill are what sets it apart. It’s more compact and lighter than other drills with similar specs, so you can grip it tighter. Its handle is designed to be used for long stretches with its soft, overmold construction. And the LED light prevents you from ever having to work in the dark. The ¼ in. hex chuck accepts all popular brands of bits and comes with a #2 Phillips screwdriving bit to get you started. This drill doesn’t come with a battery. It’s meant for those that already have a Power Share battery to use with this tool so they can save money by not having to purchase a new battery every time they buy a new Worx cordless tool. This is an Impact Driver with modern features to make it easier on the user, but still built to perform for decades to come.

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. This tool does not have a set number of speed modes, and it will be controlled by the trigger! As you depress the trigger more, you will see the change to the higher speed. Thank you for choosing Worx!

lots of options, with room to grow!
So far I have been happy with it. Works great heats up quickly and has a lot of tip options. Considering that this is a craft tool, I would love to see an add-on for a foam cutting wire. They already have the knife collet with a tightening sleeve. A slightly different collet, similar to a rotary tool, would allow for a steel wire to be inserted and locked in place. And allow for varying shapes of wire tools. It definitely has the temperature range to be useful for a wide range of foam cutting and shaping. This is the main reason I am writing this review so that maybe someone sees the suggestion.

Another great Worx branded tool..
I have quite an assortment of the Worx line of battery powered tools. The reason I chose this power share variable speed hex impact driver mostly because I can use the Worx power share batteries I already have. It's nice not to have to use different batteries for different brands. As usual the quality of the impact driver is great. It's sturdy and feels solid in the hands. The casing is very strong and the adjustable speed and tork is great. I also love the quick change chuck. Something really unique is the LED light which is on the base and shines upward towards the project your performing. Your hands don't get in the way of the light. I have never been disappointed with the Worx line of cordless tools. From my hedger, my trimmer, my two yard blower's. If you haven't tried Worx before than I would not hesitate to get this.
