The MakerX ZipSnip Mini Rotary Cutter was made to quickly cut cardboard, plastic packaging, thick fabric, plastic sheeting and much more. Its micro-ergonomic design is easier to grip and control, and more comfortable to use for long crafting sessions. And the self-sharpening blade keeps the blade edge honed for better results. While the lock-out switch and blade guard make this a safer tool overall. MakerX has created crafting and hobby tools that are smaller, but more powerful—the secret lies in the Hub. It’s a power source that you can take with your tool, so if you want to work in the middle of a large space, you can, and still have the power to get the job done. Thoughtful design allowed Worx engineers to make these tools slimmer, so you can hold them with more precision, and provide a level of detail to your projects that’s not possible with other tools. This model doesn’t come with the MakerX Hub or a 20V Power Share battery, but that’s by design. Because if you already have a Hub and a battery, there’s no need to buy it again. It’s a great way to save money as you build up your MakerX crafting tool collection.

I added the ZipSnip, not really expecting to have much use for it, but being OCD, I had to have the whole collection. Well, turns out I was wrong, I love this tool! This little tool is amazing! From time to time, I have to cut up cardboard boxes. Always a chore, right? Not with this! The ZipSnip cuts through heavy boxes like a hot knife through butter. Makes a horrible job actually fun. It's so easy to use and the battery life is excellent. I also use this to open those nasty plastic blister packs that many new products come in, you know the ones that will cut you wide open if you slip with the scissors or pocket knife. The ZipSnip makes short, safe work in getting those open. That's worth the price of admission all by itself. I think the ZipSnip is an excellent part of the amazing Makerx platform and is a worthwhile addition to anyone's tool box. I think this is excellent value for money and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rotary cutter tool works great for cutting down boxes. It got a lot of use after my move. The blade stayed sharp the whole time. The cutter cuts quickly and with precision. I also tried this out on light plastic. It did cut that as well, but not as swiftly as the cardboard. You need the cordless battery and charger to operate this so be sure to buy that as well. This is a great, lightweight tool. Highly recommend!

I live in Arizona and our trees grow more like giant sunbaked bushes. the wood is incurably hard. the saws all is very convient. I would recommend this tool for anyone who needs a way to prune around the yard. Switching to the jig saw is fast and easy. i

It is very lightweight and easy to use. Just plug it into the power pack and go. It has enough power to use for small jobs . Good product, very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cutter works great for cutting thin items such as cardboard or anything less than 1/4 inch, in fact this is my tool of choice when it comes to breaking down cardboard boxes or cutting anything that is a little too challenging for a pair of scissors. Also I like that the base that is included can be used with multiple different WorX tools. The only thing I disliked about this tool is that the battery charger was not included and for this reason I can't recommend the tool to my friends without mentioning that they will need to purchase the charger seperately.

The cutter is quick and easy to use, and the lock switch is a nice safety feature. Note that, as stated on the box, the MakerX Hub or HubX, battery, and charger are required for use and are sold separately.

The size is compact and this is highly advantageous since I have small hands. It allows me to make precise and intricate cuts. I can also hold it longer because it is lightweight. This makes it easier to maneuver around different materials. The 20v power supply lasts for a long time. This ensures consistent and powerful cutting performance slicing through a variety of materials, such as fabrics, metal, and plastic. The rotary blade is sharp and durable and it is also easy to replace. The Makerx Zipsnip also comes with a built in LED light which helps if you're working in a dimly lit area. Overall I am very happy with the performance of this rotary cutter. It has become an essential tool for a hobbyist like myself.

IT DID CUT WELL ON SOME ITEMS, BUT IT DIDN'T DO WELL ON ALL FABRICS. IT DIDN'T GIVE A CLEAN CUT ON SOME.

Great tools but would get five stars but it takes five hours to charge a battery with the charger that comes with it run time about an hour and a half. Should come with a fast charger not a charger that takes 5 hours to charge a single battery so therefore it gets three stars. Could not get a full day of work out of the batteries on a weekend project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Axis 2 in 1 saw has been amazing. I used it to trim branches on a bush that would have been difficult using a conventional reciprocating saw. Being able to rotate the saw and the blade made the job a snap. Made some cuts on plastic fencing material with ease. My wife even tried it. Plenty of power from the 20V battery. They are balanced and easy to use. The battery removal is a bit of an issue. You have to firmly tap on bench to remove them from the tools. Hence the 4 star rating. The Impact Driver works well. It goes go into the impact mode a little early while driving screws, not a deal breaker by any means. It is well balanced and has good power. Overall, these are a great addition to any workshop. I highly recommend this kit.

Haven’t used it but typical quality build and I will use this a lot throughout this spring and summer season as a saws all it can get places a normal saw can’t as a jig saw it seems stable and agile well balanced
