Kraft Classic Catalina Salad Dressing 16fl oz

Kraft Catalina has long been one of my favorite bottled salad dressings, but I have to agree with other reviewers in wishing that it did not contain artificial dyes and preservatives. Also, i wish Kraft would make some salad dressings which did not contain soybean oil. I am one of thousands of consumers who are allergic to soy. I try to minimize my exposure to it, but now it seems to be an ingredient in almost every type of processed food. I would rather pay a little more for dressings and sauces that used canola oil of safflower oil. The fat content level is OK for a bottled dressing, but please consider making Catalina Dressing with a different type of oil. One more thing -- I had a bottle delivered today with a food order from my local Target store and while the expiration date had not passed, it did not have a great expiration date, which means that I either will have the inconvenience of returning it to Target to look for a bottle with a better expiration date; or I will start using it, but will probably not be half way through the bottle when it hits the expiration date. Food is just too expensive these days to pay for a full bottle of salad dressing but end up throwing away a half bottle. Why don't you just pull your dressing from the shelf if it does not have at least 2 or 3 months of possible use by a person who may not be sharing it with a big family?

I am an old soul that absolutely loves Catalina dressing. I make a very simple salad with lettuce, celery, carrots, a little bit of onion and some Catalina dressing.... and I'm in heaven! Sometimes I will add some feta cheese to add a little saltiness to the tangy sweetness of the dressing and it's delicious.

This yummy Catalina dressing is sweet and spicy to make your salad great! It’s a great value usually. The appearance could use an update but it has a great taste overall!

I love this sauce Catalina classic . I love it for salads among other things…. It has a special and soft flavor , this is the one I use the most I prefer the classic one but they are all very tasty. It has good quality and presentation and it is also recommended to use at parties and family gatherings …. And it has a great price

My family love this dressing for Dorito taco salad. It is the perfect consistency and smells amazing with all the spices. The label is easy to read but the packaging could be better. It is somewhat difficult to open for someone with carpal tunnel or arthritis.

This dressing is delicious and versatile! Its creamy tanginess is great in deviled eggs, pasta dishes (yes, really) and of course salads. It is priced fairly and has a great shelf life.

Shipt delivered me an expired bottle of dressing. It expired 3 days ago.

I dislike that it has red 40 and blue 1 food coloring. I also dislike that sugar is the first ingredient.

The main ingredient is sugar. Wish there was a healthier option.

This is always a must buy for me. I choose this brand specifically over generic for taste. Great for taco salad.

I never tried catalina cause I thought I wouldn't like it. Well one day my dad made steaks marinated in Catalina dressing, yes it sounds weird but oh my gosh I have never had such a good flavored steak! This stuff is great for marinade, to dip, as a dressing! So many options and it actually tastes delicious! Recommend trying on steaks if youhavemt cause they are So good!

I like this flavor better than normal french. Has a little tang to it which I like. Use this as a dip with carrots besides using on salad
