Yamazaki Home - Side Table Trash Can

Layout isn't conducive to a larger proper bedside table and I had grown oh so weary of the constant small pile of detritus next to his bed and the amount of nagging necessary to remind him to throw it away. Problem solved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks good, multifunctional, blends in with my white walls, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and i like that it's not exposed up top like a regular trash can. Feels like in my home things fall down and sometimes it ends up in the trash can by accident. This solves that minor problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hoped it would fit in my bathroom between the toilet and sink but it was to wide. I put it in my bedroom and I'm loving it, have extra table space to put more junk on lol. It holds more trash than my previous trash can so that's a good thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a useful item for an office space or bathroom because it has a tabletop you can use in addition to the trash can. However, the top is not very sturdy (if you're going to move it, make sure to have a good grip on both sides). Also, I find the bag difficult to install. We re-use single use plastic grocery bags for small cans like this, and it is very awkward to get the bag around the ring, and the ring in place inside. I love everything else Yamazaki that I've bought, but I probably would not recommend or buy this again, especially for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trash can is so practical and attractive! I love the table top lid. The narrow design makes it easy to tuck away. And the hidden trash bag with the side entrance makes trash so much less trashy. Great product. I will probably order another one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this trash can to go between the bed and the nightstand so the dog would stop raising the trash over night. A trash can with a pedal to open wouldn't work from the bed and the dog just went nuts with an open top bin. This is the perfect solution. Plus, it comes with the added benefit of a tiny tabletop at just the thought hight to put a phone down to charge over night. So far it has been the perfect, elegant solution to a very inelegant problem.

I like everything about it except fitting and removing the bag. I wish it would have some type hook for the ring to fit more securely.

I would absolutely LOVE this in a 25" inch height too!

I really like the side table n trash. Intended for the bathroom to also act as a table. Found a location for it that works. Functional n stylish with quiet dignity.

Perfect solution for and under sink recycle bin. It fits perfectly inside my cabinet and the side opening provides easy access. The cutout handle in the back makes it easy to dump the recycling into my larger bin outside. The lid and metal ring that holds a garbage bag in place are a plus for future uses. It’s nice and sturdy too. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two of these now. I bought the first one to have a trash can in our bathroom that wasn’t so visible. I also like that you can use the top as a table and we have it catching a box of tissues - which is nice in a small bathroom to add more surface area. We’ve also discovered that this trash can is great for putting the bags from our cats’ litter boxes because since the front is open it has better ventilation so it doesn’t get too stinky. We tried using a totally closed can and it was toxic. So we ended up buying a second one to put near the other litter box.

The functionality of this is perfect for our bathroom needs. It slides in cozily between the toilet and the wall, and the table top is just large enough to hold a few essentials plus a phone or book. The opening on the side is small and discrete enough to not see or smell what's inside. My only complaint is that the top feels like cheap plastic when you're using it, I wish it had a metal or wood top.

Functional design for small space. Metal piece to hold plastic or paper bag in trash can likely would not work well. We just put the trash in the plastic basket rather than add more stuff to the land fill (a plastic bag). The front of the basket where the opening is is a little flimsy as other reviewers mentioned but is not a problem as far as use goes.

The design and appearance are excellent. The difficulty lies in getting the bag in place. But overall, It is meeting my needs perfectly.

Does the job! Garbage can that doesn't have to look ugly. Convenient top to place miscellaneous items. it's a bit taller than I had thought but happy w/ my purchase.

We have this one between our recliner chairs and love it. I wish there was a taller model = about 4 inches taller. Can that happen?

The trash can is much more unstable than exoected. The top doesnt stay put-- and neither do any of the many liner bags I have tried so far. Seems like a purchasing mistake at this point
