I made this to eat with a side of rotisserie chicken and a salad and it was so good. Perfect for those days where you don't feel like cooking and want something quick and delicious. I was skeptical to try any type of prepared rice mix due to the taste not being pleasant. I usually don't like the taste of tomatoes in my rice. I enjoyed the inclusion of tomatoes which pairs perfectly with the onion, bell pepper, and mix of spices. I was able to pair it well with dishes that included chicken and pork. The rice was so flavorful that it even had my family members asking me what I was cooking. Zatarain's Spanish Rice is the perfect side dish to provide to your family or self during busy days. I would highly recommend Zatarain's Spanish Rice to anybody who enjoys preparing an easy meals that provides a flavored experience.

When using boxed rice products and following directions to a T, more often than not, rice comes out either undercooked or overcooked. However, this rice mix came out perfect texture and doneness. I also really enjoyed the flavor of this specific mix - it was perfect amount of flavorful and spicy but not hot. I added fresh tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes and it came out great. Highly recommend.
