    A NEW SPANISH RICE DISH!

    I have made this product several times, always a great result! The directions call for a 10.5 oz can of diced tomatoes. I didn't have that in my counter, so I used 1/2 jar (12 oz.) of a 24 oz. jar of Rao's Marina Sauce instead. It was amazing! Even though both products are tomato-based, the Rao's was a significant improvement! I think I have just discovered a new dish! LOL!

    Quick and Nutritious

    Beautiful rice addition to any protein. I place a couple half cooked chicken breasts or thighs into a casserole, cover with uncooked rice mix, and bake to 165. I like to put a cup of chicken stock with it. Yum!

    Our favorite packaged spanish rice

    This is our favorite packaged spanish rice brand. It can be hard to find, but fortunately Target usually has it available. The rice always turns out tasty and reheats well for leftovers. We use fresh veggies or canned and both ways have turned out great.

    So good I felt the need to leave review.

    Absolutely delicious! I really enjoy when a boxed food asks for outside ingredients (the can of diced tomatoes). I used *no salt added* chicken broth instead of water and didn’t forget the butter and this is by far the best boxed Spanish rice I have ever had in my life. I also like how they offer food pairing ideas, options to add more veggies, or suggestions on what to do with leftovers. 100% will buy again.

    Delicious & lower sodium than most

    This has the lowest sodium of all the Spanish rice mixes I’ve tried, AND it’s the most flavorful. It asks for a can of diced tomatoes to be added to the mix. I never keep canned tomatoes, so used a I diced up a fresh tomato, and the rice was even better.

    Not gluten free as the picturw shows!

    I didn’t read the reviews first and was also disappointed by the non-gluten free rice I received. I specifically ordered because I thought it was gluten free! Disappointing.

    OUTSTANDING RICE WITH LIVELY AUTHENTIC FLAVORS!!

    Everyone really raved over this dish. Rice turned out fluffy and aromatic; and I will also add it is NOT over salted in the least!! It is seasoned to perfection and utterly delicious!! ( The only thing I did not realize when I ordered it is that you also need to add a can of diced tomatoes.) I must say this is by far the best boxed rice we have ever had.
