Zojirushi 24oz GoCafe Insulated Mug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used several brands of thermos over the years, and two important features stand out in the GoCafé. First of all, it is the easiest thermos to clean because of its design. I can reach every bit of the cap and detachable sipping piece, so there is nothing that remains dirty and there are no stains. Also, the sipper is just the right size for my mouth. Secondly, the thermos maintains the temperature of my coffee forever. From 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., I detect no cooling whatsoever, though I imagine it must decrease a degree or two. I love the moss green color of the thermos, and the 24 oz. size is just the right amount of coffee. I bring it to the classes I teach and to my tennis games, where I drink it along with a separate thermos of water. I can’t find anything negative to say about the GoCafe. It’s lightweight, the cap is the best I’ve ever experienced, and the circumference is perfect for my hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a few Zojirushi thermos at home and this is a nice upgrade from the previous gen. The package came with thorough cushion for protection. I picked Asagi and the color is gorgeous. I mostly used it for hot drinks, and it works awesome to a point where I had to leave the lid open to cool down to drinkable temperature. The lid design is better and simpler than prior gen. It is a lightweight bottle. I picked size of 24 oz to use at home, so it could be too tall/too heavy to carry around when the mug is full, but a 16oz one would be perfect if one needs it for travel. The mug came in with a scent/taste fresh out of factory, and it takes a few days to wash it off before you can enjoy your drink.

Left it full of water overnight and it the morning it was still cold. Make coffee in the morning, still hot by the end of the day. It is magically surprising how well this insulates my drinks. Very easy to clean since the lid can be taken apart.

It keeps the water hot for more than 12 hours of it is not open and close to drink constantly. I boil the water between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm the night before. I picked the 20 oz because it fits perfectly in the side pocket of my backpack. The weight is good as well. I do like the lock feature on the lid to prevent leaks and splits, especially when it is in my backpack. It is easy to unlock to drink and relock afterwards to prevent accidents. The flip-lid once detached is easy to wash. So far, I have used it for work to bring hot water to drink every morning. I love that I can boil the water the night before to take to work the next morning to drink. I also like the lock mechanism to prevent leaks and splits while it is in my backpack. The size is not too big, so it fits in the side pocket of my backpack and in the cup holder in my car.

The blue color gradient is pleasing to the eye and it makes me happy every time I reach out for a sip of water. It encourages me to have more water intake.

The locking mechanism is strong and I was not worried about carrying it in my bag. The lid is easy to remove and clean as well. The Asagi is a beautiful gradient color that looks great on my desk.

My commute to work is about an hour long, and it keeps my coffee piping hot for the entire drive, from the first sip to the last. The performance is simply outstanding. Beyond its incredible insulation, the design is thoughtful and practical. I specifically chose the 24oz model because it fits perfectly in my car's cupholders, which is a huge plus. The finish feels high-quality, and the spout is perfectly designed to let you drink comfortably without burning your mouth. It's such a fantastic purchase that my only worry is that my spouse is going to steal it. I'm already planning on buying a second one just to make sure I always have mine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superb product, I love it! The texture on the outside helps with the grip and makes it less slippery. I love the lock for the flip top lid too. It's easy to switch between lock and unlock and has a very positive "click". This gives me peace of mind that the lid will not accidentally open when it's in my bag next to my computer. The diameter of this bottle is fantastic as well. I drive an older car (2004 BMW e46) with the old style cup holders - basically designed for a 12 oz can. I was pleasantly surprised that this 24oz bottle fits perfectly! The fact that it's about the same diameter as the 12oz can means it's easy to hold in the hand as well. The large opening makes it easy to fill with ice cubes, and the height of this bottle is small enough to use my refrigerator ice dispenser and water dispenser to fill. The 24oz size is perfect for my hot or iced coffees when I need that caffeine throughout the day, and since it's 24 ounces I can have ice and plenty of water for when I go on hikes or to the gym. While there are many insulated bottles to choose from, the fit and finish of this Zojirushi bottle is top notch. Highly recommended. Very impressive of the Zojirushi designers and engineers to take into consideration so many factors such as fit in hand, and fit in older cup holders (and the lid lock, too!). The people at the Zojirushi fullfillment center did a fantastic job in packaging the bottle as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mug is very good overall, it is well insulated and the contents stay cool/hot for a very long time. I like the color a lot and the cap is very easy to use. Overall it's a great mug and does its job well. Some small pain points are that the button you press to open the bottle will contact with your chin when you're drinking which is a bit annoying. Also its difficult to drink quickly, which is probably a good thing if you're drinking hot liquid, but it is annoying if you're trying to hydrate.

I take the subway most days, and the spout is well-shaped so that there's no sudden splash when you tilt the mug to drink, even when the train comes to a sudden stop mid-sip. I also like that there's a little divot in the cap for you to push down on to close the lid, although it's a little tough for me to reach single-handed (kind of like how lots of phones are too big to hold one-handed). But the bottle itself is slim and easy to hold, and it kept my water cold for hours even on warmer days. Overall, another quality Zojirushi product!

Generally speaking, I like this mug. The color is very pretty, and it keeps liquids really cold. One caveat—I’m used to a shorter, wider style. Having a hard time getting used to the tall thin shape.

I got this 2 weeks ago and I like almost everything about it. Cons: no carrying loop to hook to backpack or to hold onto with hand. Pros: keeps cold drinks cold for at least 5 hours. Slim shape is easier to hold. The lock on the cap works well. The lid flips open easily. The shades of blue color is very pretty. Fits in cup holders. The pour is a good steady stream - I like the spout shape and angle- no dribbling when I drink from bottle.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and just love, LOVE it! It really lives up to the hype: it keeps hot beverages hot and cold drinks cold for several hours. The wide mouth accepts the oval-shaped ice cubes from my freezer. I happened to leave it in my parked car for several hours in 80-degree weather. The car was very hot when I got in, but I was surprised to find that the water in this travel mug was still cold, and the ice was still clinking around inside! I tested it with hot coffee as well: I filled the mug with hot coffee in the morning before going to work at 6AM. The coffee was still hot, as hot as when it was dripping out of my Keurig. It actually burned my tongue when I first took a sip. It stayed hot until 3PM when I needed a pick me up. Next time I will heed the warning label sticker on that cautions the drinker from scalding themselves. This GoCafe really is versatile and lives up to Zojirushi's claims that it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold! I haven't had a mug that keeps this promise! And believe me, I have bought a ton of them, and ALL of them lose their heat or coldness after just a couple of hours--4 hours tops! I highly recommend this mug! It is very well worth the price! I have been using it so often that I bought additional mugs so I have standby mugs for mornings when I'm in a rush.

I very much like this mug. It is slim and stylish. It fits easily in my car cup holder. It has a very pleasant tactile quality- it is nice to the touch. It is easy to drink out of because of the mouthpiece. It is a step or two up from my previous mugs.

I bought this as a gift, and I'm really pleased with it! I particularly love the cute ombré color. It also does an excellent job of keeping beverages cold for extended periods.

I always have Zojirushi insulated mugs in the past and always loved how good they are in keeping my beverages hot or cold for a long time. This new product has a larger spout which is great because it is easier to clean. The lock system is always appreciated. They have it in the old version as well. Zojirushi has excellent qualities in all their product. I also own their rice cooker, too.
