I love this powder I just wish there were more shades. The deep is too dark for my fair/light skin, and the light is too light for summer when I have a tan. Need a medium shade!

Though I didn't understand mosaic face powder, I'm thankful a pleased review by another fair colored persuaded trying this convenient compact of one of the best healthier cosmetics brands, Gabrielle/Zuzu, for my sensitive skin. These mosaic color tiles blend together, and lightly enough to not mark my ivory Irish Spring complexion, yet its slight darkness slims my face imperceptibly, better than an obvious darker contouring blush . (I use my lighter powder to set their liquid wand cover stick on undereye fatigue darkness.)

During the long winter months it's nice to use a product like this to even skin tone and add a touch of color. Went on evenly but I found a little touch will do. Too much on my fair skin and it looked a little orange. Over all I will continue to use this product. The author of this review received a free sample of this product

I used this as the final touches for my makeup routine and loved it right away! It blends nicely with my skin tone and doesn't take away from any blush or highlighter. The application is smooth and not cakey. I have progressively oily skin through out the day and this keeps my skin matte and shine free. The only thing I would change is that I wish there was an applicator included but the product has proven to work efficiently with my other brushes. I love the packaging- it is light weight and classic. The size of the mirror is awesome for a compact! *The author of this review received a free sample of this product.

I had never heard of Zuzu before, but after a few uses I think this is a great product. I have been trying to start using products with more natural ingredients - Zuzu Luxe is part of Gabriel Cosmetics which is all about organic, vegan and gluten-free cosmetics. I don't usually use illuminators - or a ton of face make up for that matter, but I do usually throw on a little bronzer. I think this is the perfect product for me. Its "mosaic" contains bits of pigment that provides a bit of bronzer as well as illumination. I think it also has the perfect amount of shine or shimmer - it's not overly sparkly. For reference, I have oily skin and I've noticed less oily sheen at the end of the day when I use this Illuminator! I will definitely continue to use this product!! The description should really include that the Zuzu Luxe company is free of FD&C coloring agents, propylene glycol, parabens, hydrogenated oils, and gluten. It's actually certified gluten-free as well as vegan and cruelty-free! We are in the process of phasing out any products with these ingredients so this is a major selling point for me! I am purposeful with where my money goes, also; if I'm given the choice between a cheap product or a slightly more expensive product from a company that uses only natural ingredients, herbs, and minerals in their makeup products rather than cancer-causing, harmful chemicals, I will absolutely pay more! This is labeled as an Illuminator but I was able to use it as a Bronzer, also. It says that it can be used over foundation but I don't wear foundation and my skin still looked amazing. The formula is extremely smooth and it blends well. It has a slight shimmer, I just wish it had a little more. :) Oh, and FYI, it does not come with a brush so make sure that you have one handy! I am typically a Bare Minerals make up user who does not stray far from my comfort zone. I don't like a ton of color- don't look great in bronzer or pinks and reds for blushes, so finding a color to bring out some warmth in my face is always hard. Additionally, I have terrible combination skin - super dry in the winter with patches of oil, so adding a new make up element to the mix is difficult for me. Lastly, what is an illuminator? I've only ever used blush in the hollows of my cheeks - how does one use illuminator? The good news is that with this particular color, someone as pale as myself can use it easily in any facet. I wore this palette three different ways - as a contour one afternoon when my sister helped me, as a warmth bronzer and even as a substitute for blush though I know they all do different things. Additionally, I use an eye shadow brush and touched on some of the lighter squares for a bit of highlighter without the darker shades. Overall, I found it to e extremely complimentary. It's a great color palette, especially for fall when I am using it, and was complimentary rather than harsh or over doing it. I used with a light blush brush as it does not come with a powder puff or brush of it's own (something I think is a little silly for $30.00-- throw in a complimentary blush brush!). Would I have normally paid $30 for a piece of make up like this - no probably not. However, if you're looking for a replacement for "warmth" by Bare Minerals or your standard contour make up, I think this would make a great substitute. “The author of this review received a free sample of this product”

The first day I used the Zuzu Luxe Mosaic Illuminator, I got compliments. I don't like to wear a ton of makeup, so I just did a little concealer & then this powder all over my face & neck. It's so smooth, and doesn't feel cakey like other powders I've tried. It made my skin glowing & tan, it really looked nice and even. I highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't like to feel a lot on their face. *the author of this review received a free sample of this product

This is my new favorite all over color! I have tried using bronzers mixed with powders, but it is annoying for travel and hard to balance the color. Now, I apply foundation, concealer, and then use a kabuki brush to apply this all over my face and neck and the color looks really natural and just slightly tan/glowing. New daily must have!
