Many sketchbooks use elastic closures or elastic bands plus a front cover to keep pages secure while stored or carried. Some listings also note page-keeper ribbons or built-in covers that help reduce edge wear and keep pages aligned.
Options include a pocket magic-screen toy that erases by shaking, LCD drawing tablets with one-touch erase and screen-lock controls, and erasable rainbow drawing boards that use a stylus and a one-touch erase button.
Listings include compact pocket sketch toys and portable LCD tablets described as pocket-sized or suitable for travel, plus smaller hardbound sketchbooks that are easy to carry for creativity on the go.
Extras include included or tethered styluses (sometimes with lanyards), elastic closures and page-keeper ribbons on some sketchbooks, a silicone pencil case that holds up to 12 pencils, and batteries—some devices require batteries while at least one lists a battery included.
