Zevo flying insect traps are electric plug-in devices that plug into an AC outlet; they do not use batteries.
Zevo traps use UV and blue light to attract flying insects, then capture them on a sticky adhesive cartridge so the bugs stay trapped and can be disposed of without touching them.
Zevo product labels commonly warn to keep them out of reach of children and pets and to avoid contact with eyes. For sprays, labels also advise avoiding use on food-preparation, food-storage, or eating surfaces.
Zevo plug-in flying traps advertise a “first catch in 24 hours” timeframe, and product text and reviews describe rapid reductions thereafter. Zevo sprays are marketed as fast-acting and are described as killing many insects on contact.
Place Zevo flying traps indoors where you see flying insects—common spots include kitchens (near fruit bowls and trash cans), bathrooms, living rooms, garages, basements, and enclosed patios or other high–bug-traffic areas.
User reviews commonly report replacing refills about every two weeks. Product instructions also recommend checking the adhesive cartridge regularly and replacing it when it’s full of insects.
Zevo spray formulas are based on plant-derived essential oils (commonly cornmint and rosemary). Product copy emphasizes little to no chemical odor or residue, and some reviewers describe a pleasant peppermint- or mint-like scent.
