While Zevo is highly effective at eliminating fruit flies, drain flies, or their eggs upon direct contact, we do not recommend spraying it directly into your drain for residual effects. Zevo sprays are designed to be deadly to insects when sprayed directly onto the insects you see. Since water regularly runs down drains, the Zevo would be washed away, preventing any lasting impact. For best results, we suggest directly spraying any drain flies you see when they land, using Zevo Instant Action Sprays to get rid of pests before they reproduce and make your home their home.

A: Hi Hall! Thank you for your question. Zevo is proven effective against many insects, however, it has not been tested on scorpions specifically. While Zevo sprays act quickly, the time it takes to kill bugs can vary depending on their size and the amount of product applied. Generally, larger bugs take longer to die. For best results, ensure the bug is completely covered and wet with the Zevo spray. For small to medium bugs, one or two pulls of the trigger or a 1 to 2 second spray should suffice. I live close to the forest, so naturally there are a lot of bugs and critters that make their way into my house. I keep it close to my back door because that’s where they seem to sneak in…it’s so easy to spray it and sure does the job!

Usually we use products that prevent the bugs and spiders from coming. The foam leaves a residue which I'm not a fan of as well.

It wasn’t a messy spray and dried cleanly enough that I could vacuum without issue later.

Plant powered bugs spray

It also include essential oil which is safer than harsh chemicals for our wood floor. However I did have to spray a bit more than usual to contain the cockroach.
