colored index cards

Common sizes include 3 × 5 inches (a standard index-card size) and 5 × 3 inches. Other variants shown in listings include smaller sizes such as 3.5 × 2.0 inches and larger formats up to 8.5 × 11 inches in one listing.

Pack counts vary. Typical single-pack totals include 100, 150, and 300 cards. Bulk options are also common — for example, totals like 1,000 cards sold as multiple smaller packs.

Many listings offer assorted color sets, including pastel palettes. Example pastel shades noted include yellow, green, pink, blue, and purple; individual listings may also highlight single colors such as purple.

Ruling varies by product. Listings show both wide-ruled and narrow-ruled cards, and several describe cards that are ruled or lined on one side with a blank reverse.

Storage and binding options include loose, unbound packs; loose-leaf or ring-bound sets (often with steel rings); and elastic bands to keep cards together. Some kits also include protective covers.

Materials range from plain paper to thicker cardstock. Some products use poly or polypropylene front covers for protection, and metal components (such as steel rings) are used when ring binding is included.

Many colored index cards are ruled or lined on one side with a blank reverse; some listings explicitly state the front is lined and the back is blank.

Features that aid organization and quick flipping include sturdy or loose-leaf rings for turning cards, elastic bands to keep stacks together, poly front covers for protection, and rounded/curved corners for comfortable handling.
