Most convex mirrors are wall-mounted using the supplied mounting brackets. Some models include a swiveling pillar-mount bracket that fits pillar diameters from 1 3/4" to 2 3/8".

They are used to eliminate blind spots and improve visibility in garages, driveways, parking lots, supermarkets and stores, warehouses, street corners and intersections, and on narrow roads.

Convex safety mirrors use shatterproof plastic reflective surfaces (PC/PP). Decorative wall mirrors use tempered or high‑definition float glass for clearer, distortion‑free reflections.

Some convex mirrors list screws and a manual in the package; decorative mirrors are often supplied with mounting hardware or complete accessory kits for wall installation.
