Q: I love my new mirror but I want to hang it. Why are you not supposed to use a wire on the back? It seems silly to me but there is a sticker specifically saying not to and I would like to know why.

A: Hi megan m - This is a great question, I'm very glad you asked! Heavier framed mirrors are art pieces often are not designed to be hung with wire due to the amount of excess stress the wire creates on the frame. This stress can cause the frame to break and fall to the ground. We don’t want you to damage your new item or anything else in your home! We recommend that you use two screws in the wall to hang this mirror. I hope this helps to clarify! - Katrina

The mirror came broken. Was left on my porch. I went to pick up the box and cut my hand and got shards of glass in my fingers. After taking care of that, put work gloves on and took it to my local store to return. Wish I could buy instore as I'm afraid to order again.

Beautiful item, but comes broken!
This mirror is a beauty. Unfortunately, you can't get it in stores anymore (though the vertical, tall version is always in stock in stores) and it now has to be shipped. This is where the problem comes in. The vendor ships the mirror but they do not put it in a box. They slap a label on the box that it's stored in, but that has no padding at all. Literally none. It's just a box that is maybe 1/4 inch thicker than the mirror itself, so of course it's going to arrive in millions of pieces. I tried three times. Target was so great about returning the mirrors and trying to exhange them, but even they were like, this probably isn't going to arrive undamaged if it doesn't have a shipping box. Order at own risk. Literally, I was cut the first time just opening the box.
