desk name plates

Desk name plates commonly come in several standard sizes, for example: 11-1/2" x 3-1/2", about 10" x 4", and larger 17.5" x 4".

Desk name plates are available as paper/cardstock options and as magnetic plates made from plastic or metal.

Magnetic plates are dry-erase and reusable with a dry-erase pen; primary adhesive plates offer a write-on surface compatible with most markers and pens; many paper/cardstock plates can be laminated for repeated use.

Some desk name plates include learning aids such as an emotions chart and SEL strategies, a personalized name space, and primary reference tools like an alphabet line, a 12" ruler, a number line (0–30), shapes and colors, U.S. currency, and a counting chart (1–120).

Options include magnetic plates that stick to metal surfaces and adhesive plates that adhere to desks, tabletops, lockers, and notebooks and can be peeled off cleanly for repositioning.

Common uses include helping teachers learn student names, labeling learning centers and storage, assigning seats or workgroups, personalizing desks or cubbies, and creating flash cards or word-bank labels.
