Cruz-themed color-changing Cars toys change paint when dunked in warm water and then revert to their original color when placed in icy cold water. The process is repeatable, allowing the toy to show two different looks.

Product descriptions list plastic as the common material. Some options combine plastic with metal (die-cast) construction, depending on the specific toy.

These Cruz and related Cars toys are non-powered. Listings indicate "No Battery Used," so they do not require batteries.

Many glow-racer Cars toys feature glow-in-the-dark coloring for visible play in low light. Several listings also note die-cast metal construction, which can enhance durability and heft.
