RV sewer hose kits are commonly offered in lengths around 15 to 20 feet. Some 20 ft kits come as two 10 ft sections that compress to about 39 inches with fittings, while a 15 ft hose may compress to approximately 56 inches. These compressed sizes are approximate and can vary by design and fittings.

Kits commonly include pre-attached or permanently attached swivel fittings, clear elbow fittings for visual confirmation of flow, and reinforced construction (such as steel-wire or brass stems) to maintain secure, leak-resistant connections.

Connector features include a 180° pivoting hose connection to reduce kinks, a 360° rotating tap connector for easier attachment, and standard 3/4" thread sizing to fit common outdoor spigots.

Common materials include stainless-steel braid and brass couplings for supply lines, PVC or vinyl inner tubing, and polyolefin with steel-wire reinforcement for RV sewer hoses. Sprayers and nozzles may use metal or plastic bodies, poly tanks or polypropylene, and rubberized grips.

Nozzles use several control types: thumb-slide throttles for smooth one‑hand flow adjustment, thumb‑push controls that provide on/off and flow modulation, and rotating heads or pattern dials to select spray patterns (commonly 7 or 8 patterns).
