Two common sizes are listed: an extra-large size about 12.5 × 17.75 × 10.5 inches and another around 10.5 × 17.5 × 10 inches. Capacities shown include approximately 2,296 cubic inches and 1,837.5 cubic inches.
Listings describe woven and braided stripe patterns, ticking-style striped liners for wire baskets, and woven striped looks on natural materials such as seagrass and palm leaf.
Many styles are easy to carry because they include handles or looped side grips. Several fabric laundry bins are also collapsible, folding flat for compact storage when not in use.
They appear in rectangular and round shapes. Heights range from about 6 to 11.5 inches; widths from about 7 to 17.5 inches, with depths/lengths up to about 17.5 inches.
Care depends on material: woven water hyacinth and seagrass items are typically spot- or wipe-clean only; some fabric liners are machine washable or hand washable; and collapsible fabric bins are usually wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
