Technics - Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones with 2 Device Multipoint Connectivity - EAH-A800

I remember my parent's old audio setup from from the late 80s. From the turntable to the cassette player and even the receiver was all Technics. It's safe to say I grew up loving music. Fast forward to now and everything is digital which has taken the sparkle out of the analog music that used to be commonplace. Technics has managed to bridge this gap by creating products that bring back that analog sparkle they were known for while pushing cutting edge digital technology! I now proudly own the EAH-AZ80 as well as these guys. Right out of the box these sound great with a mostly neutral profile. I fell in love with the sound as soon as I dialed in the EQ. I would love to see more EQ bands (at least 10) for even deeper tuning. If you're an android user and want to dial these in even better, set your BT codec to LDAC and use Poweramp eq or Wavelet. What sets these apart from many other brands is their innate ability to create that coveted soundstage where you can actually hear the stereo separation at work with little nuances delicately dancing between your ears. Hearing your favorite music is one thing but hearing it with sonic clarity and precision will give you goosebumps and bring tears to your eyes. I have not tried the 3.5mm yet as i don't own many devices with one but I'm sure it won't disappoint. Audio is a definite 10! Battery: not many brands have the stamina these do. Been listening for couple hour sessions 3 days for first week with anc on and only currently at 83% Fit: my big head is loving the fit. The cushions are super comfy but will create some heat with long sessions. No fatigue though. ANC: amazing for cans! Cannot hear my disposal while doing dishes. Cuts about 90% of all sound. If you walk with these don't expect them to cut occlusion. There is some slight clicking from the joints when walking heavy but personally I would use my buds for gym or exercise as the sweat and heat from the cushions would be uncomfortable. Form: for me the design is great. Some complained about the weight but these are typical weight which is not heavy at all. The touch sensor on the right can is nice. Buttons are tactile and once muscle memory kicks in I can reach right for them with little struggle. Mics: amazing! No struggle at all for callers to hear me! Overall these are a fantastic addition to my headphones collection. I would 100% recommend.

I was very happy with the performance of this headphones but at month 1 the headband had a small material loose, perhaps because it was too soft. On the 7th month, the left hinge broke down :( It's a shame, because these headphones are fantastic in performance. hoping this review get you and helps improve your products as this brand is such an iconic in the sound industry.

I bought this product a little over a year ago and found it to be poorly made with faulty operating components .

My only ask is to remove anc, add more sound quality and a hint more bass.

Love these headphones. They are great for gaming or even just listening to music.

Excellent sound, great detail and resolution and deep bass--only slight thing is the ear cups could be slightly bigger and the head band feels a little hard on the scalp.

I purchased due to history of quality behind the brand. I was extremely disappointed in my purchase. The sound quality was terrible and I could still hear surrounding noise while wearing headphones. Will not recommend, dissatisfied with my purchase.

The headphones are very good in terms of the sound and functionality. It has features that I always wanted to have in one single headphones. Lately it has been turning the sound off on its own and the on and off function is a bit strange; too long to turn on or off. Not sure if the turning itself off issue has to do with the over head fitting bar.

I've actually tried through the newest offerings from Sony, Sennheiser and Grado Before landing on the Technics. Starting with the techniques they are super comfortable great build, have a great sound and allow you to control your headphones and software. My comments on the others.. Sony's were just a little too software oriented for me and the sound was good not great. I wanted something a little simpler I could operate with tactile buttons. Sennheiser sounded very good but you could not turn off ANC or disable the touch settings even though advertising said you could through software. The Grados sounded great partially because they're open which means no ANC but I was fine with that. The problem with the Grados were they were just too light had no clamping force and fell off constantly. Also the very thin sponge ear pads when I comfortable.

thinking of other headphones at the same price point, these have the best looks, quality and battery life. Noise canceling and comfort is similar to the best out there. the sound on these is spot on. very clear with tight non muddy bass which I experienced with every other headsets. The sound is exactly how I want it and how I listen to music on hi fi stereo. The app offers a lot of settings and adjustements, also very nice. there is room for improvement in allowing for more bass as i can imagine people have different tastes and might want more. The best part, these are Technics!!!
