I had my eye on this rug for over a year and when a great discount was offered, I took advantage. The rug is everything I hoped it would be. I’m only hoping it holds up well when the time comes to wash it.

I purchased the ivory Zahara rug about a year ago. I live in a home with two golden retrievers and was looking for a living room rug that wouldn't show their fur but also be easy to clean. I was really?excited to find the Dash & Albert PET rugs but unfortunately, my rug has not lived up to expectations. For one, the rug is not as stain resistant as one would expect an indoor/outdoor rug to be. My dog got sick on the rug and I was never able to completely remove the stain after many attempts Routine cleaning is also difficult. Last weekend, I decided to put the rug outside to shake it out and rinse the heavy traffic areas with the hose (as promised in the description), but the rug will not dry completely and now smells like a wet dog. I hung it outside for two nice days with fans blowing and it still is not dry. It also doesn't look much cleaner than it did before. At this point, I'll either need to get the rug professional cleaned or just get rid of it. If you're looking for a low-maintenance rug option, I'm sorry to say this isn't it.

I fell in love with this rug when I saw the pictures online, but I love it even more in person. I'm so glad I made this purchase! Gorgeous rug!
