Why did you have to change the original flavor? You have so many varieties now, couldn’t you have let the OG stay the same?? Y’all could have just started a new “cheesier” version instead. (It’s not “cheesier” now, either. It’s way less cheesy than it used to be.) I started eating Annie’s back in ‘89, and I loved how different and real it tasted compared to the other boxed macs. I won’t be buying this again, unless the recipe is changed back. Shame on those who made this decision, for what I can only assume is in the name of cost-cutting.

My son is lactose intolerant, and that's why I ventured out. We still love the snacks and the macoroni and cheese. My son is a very picky eater and loves the white cheddar! I promised my 5 year old son I would write to the company lol. We have always loved this product. He has eaten this as his exclusive mac and cheese his whole life. When I made his recent bowl, he told me I didn't make it right. As I noticed the "now cheesier" flavor, I told him the company changed the recipe and he burst into tears. Please bring the original recipe back!

horrible aftertaste after ingredient change. the creaminess and buttery characteristics of the original recipe have been replaced with rubbery chemical taste absent of any cheese taste. quality has taken a backseat to profit sadly and has been compromised adversely.

I always doctor up boxed Mac n cheese, using heavy cream and extra cheese. For just me, I also add freshly ground pepper and dry mustard (makes it taste more homemade). For this sample I made it according to instructions. Pasta cooked slightly al dente (I hate mushy pasta!!) The taste was pretty good straight outta the box. I would definitely buy this again.

The new recipe is HORRIBLE!!!! I have always been such a huge fan of the original white cheddar shells from Annie’s. I would buy 5-6 boxes at a time because it was soo good. The new recipe that they put out to save money is just disappointing. My favorite food since my CHILDHOOD has been ruined. I will not be buying anything from this company ever again. The sauce packets aren’t sealed in 75 % of the boxes I purchase. The powder gets all over uncooked pasta and also the sauces flavor is altered after losing some of its contents. Very sad for such an easy problem to fix.

I thought I got a one-off bad box it tasted so weird. I bought another box much later and from a different store, and it was the same, so I guess that’s their new recipe. It tastes nothing like cheese. I ate it because I had to (I was hungry), but not because I wanted to. Won’t be buying again.
