L'Oreal Paris Magic Root Cover Up - 2.0oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave L’Oreal Magic Root Cover Up a try and it’s definitely does a great job covering my gray roots and also helps fill in my thinning part, which gives my hair a fuller look in seconds. I love that it lets me stretch the time between salon visits without feeling self-conscious about my roots showing. The application is quick and easy, and the color blends in nicely although I think I should go a shade or two darker. The only downside is that it can feel a little chalky on my hair, and I did notice some color transfer to my hands after touching it—though that might’ve been because I used a bit too much. Overall, it’s a super convenient, affordable fix for those in-between hair days.

After 20 minutes, I had to wash it out out as it still did not dry. It may work for some people, just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the L'Oreal Magic Root Coverup spray in the color dark blonde, free from Influenster, for review a couple of days ago. I have been excited to try this product, so I was very happy to receive it. I was researching a way that I could avoid coloring my hair so often, but I definitely disliked seeing the grey roots. A few grey roots don't bother me too much unless I am going to be going to some type of special occasion event. I was thinking that this would be the perfect product to use in between colorings and it didn't disappoint me! The L'Oreal Magic Root Coverup spray is free of ammonia, peroxide, and easy to apply. I followed the directions, holding the can about 4-6 inches away from my grey hair roots after shaking the can well. I made sure to place a comb on top of the part of my hairline to avoid other pigmentation of it. I sprayed the grey root area and then combed it through the length of my hair so that it would blend in well. I let it sit for a minute or two until it was dry and then did the same thing throughout the rest of my grey root areas. When I was done, I styled it. It looked great, and it is the perfect solution to my dilemma. My hair turned out smooth, silky, and best of all, there were no visible grey roots!
