Sterilite 54-Qt Clear Plastic Stackable Storage Bin w/ Gasket Latch Lid, 16 Pack

Got this box and it is perfect. My wife has put all of her hand bags and other things that she wants to ensure dust and liquids stays out. The box is Saturday and stackable, clear so you can what is inside and seals perfectly. "I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

I really like the 54qt gasket box!! It is made from a heavier grade of plastic and the lid has what seems to be a very sturdy foam insert to help seal it tight. I like that it has 6 handles to seal the lid. I read some of the other reviews and know that the handles in some products are not terribly durable. I would say that where they bulked up on the thickness of the bin itself, they did not really bulk up the handles speaking to durability. I have had this particular bin for a couple of weeks and it has performed flawlessly, but I know some things like that can change over time. Probably depends on how you use it and how often you get into it. Overall, this is a big improvement over the standard kind of bin and will be one I’m drawn to purchase more of going forward!"I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

Amazing - so secure - I know my items inside are very protected. I also love that it is clear so I can see what I am storing. Very high quality.

I have had these boxes for probably at least 5 years but I don't open them more than twice a year because they store off-season clothes. It is so disappointing that half the handles seem to be breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a teacher and i use these to store my books over the summer. We have to keep them in the garage, so I’m grateful for the extra layer of weather protection! Definitely worth the extra cost to ensure my books are protected from moisture!

I love these. I work with a lot of bugs and reptiles and use these often for them so you know they have to be 1) secure and 2) durable. They’re amazing for the bugs I keep because the seal is the best I’ve found and they’re easy to clean and modify. For reptiles I use them for quarantining new animals in my collection. I’ve never once had a “escapee”. I see some people complain about them breaking but I’ve never had them break out of the 5 years I’ve been using them and I’m frequently moving them around, cleaning them, bumping them around and opening the lids. I’ve never had a problem with them breaking or the latches breaking/malfunctioning. You’d have to have a lot of weight in these and drop them from another level directly on the corner (which is doom for almost any tote) to break these. I’ve also never had a problem with the gaskets aligning. Yes they can be removed but I’ve never had that be a complication and that’s why I like these, because I’m frequently opening and closing lids quickly and I heavily rely on the gaskets to always be lined up and not malfunction. I highly highly recommend these and have even done tutorials for other bug/reptile keepers.

I have 4 of these 54 Qt Boxes and the plastic nubs that hold the latch to the box breaks easily. Very poor design!!!

Have had for less than a year, bought 3 to store camping equipment. I dropped an empty bin about 2 feet and the corner smashed out. Definitely not as durable as Rubbermaid but I wanted it for the seal-ability. I don’t think I’ll buy again.

As much as i love the concept of a nice seal and strong latches; unfortunately the fragility of the material is disappointing. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. That is the biggest and really my only complaint aside from the price. For how much it costs you would expect a much sturdier product.

I love this product. It is a perfect size to store all of the things that I keep in my garage. I must have at least 18 of them. From sweaters to baby clothes, to my fancy dishes and computer parts - they keep my things clean, dry, and ready to use. They keep my stuff easy to find and my storage areas neat. I do wish you could buy tops separately when you need to (like I do, when I lose them or step on them - sigh).

I live in a hurricane prone area and these with the gasket keeps the water out. They are the bomb.

This product is great for my storage needs! 54 Q. is a great size. It's no too big so I didn't have any trouble trying to fit it in my closet for storage. I really like that both the lid and the box are clear so I can easily see the contents of the box from any side or the top of the box too. I don't have to pull the box out to see what's in it! The gaskets give it a really tight seal which is what I was looking for to store some wool sweaters to protect them from moths or moisture. Having 2 gaskets on each side makes the seal tighter all around the whole box. I love this container and would definitely get more! I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

I really like this box. It is a good size ... not big and bulky, but enough space to store a decent amount. I recently went on a trip to Costa Rica and specifically bought backpacks, rain gear, water shoes, etc for the weather during their rainy season. These are things that I will not use regularly, so I needed something for storing them. This gasket box is perfect! There is ample space to add more "vacation" gear like my full-face snorkel mask. The see-through sides make it easy to determine what is inside. I would definitely recommend this product. I received this product as part of a Sterilite My-Take study.

I used this gasket box to be able to store all my kids school supplies. This way throughout the year they can just go to the box and everything is nicely stored in the see through box.

I like this storage container. I used it to store grandkids toys. The lock is very sturdy and they opened it and closed it several times. I like the blue accent I received this product as part of a My-Take research study..

Perfect for Lego storage! My kids have a zillion Lego pieces and this 54 quart gasket box is percent for corralling built models and loose pieces, still allowing the kids to see what’s contained inside. The secure kids allow for secure stacking so we have multiple Lego storage towers in our basement. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

I love this 54 quart gasket box. To be honest I had never heard of a gasket box before seeing this product. Previously I had some Easter and Halloween decorations in what was called a Bankers box that's just a cardboard box and lid that you easily put together yourself. The lids have handle holes in them though so anything could make it's way into the box. This box is clear so I can easily see what is in it. You could put a label on it if you wanted but I didn't think that would be necessary. This size really holds a lot. I was able to put all that I wanted in it.
