  • A: This box does NOT hold legal size. The 17.32 inches is the size of the outside of the lid, which is larger than the box itself. Notice how the lid overlaps the box. NOT for legal size storage.

    Too expensive for quality

    I was hoping this was comparable to the sterilite file box, which is the blue one. in this picture. It is far thinner, and much more difficult to close the latches. It's flimsy, and does not have a good handle if you're storing things overhead.

    The other reviews are right that these are break-prone. Between buying in store and getting home, the corner of the lid shattered a bit, which isn’t what you want from a storage bin. Didn’t seem to affect the seal, which is why I purchased, but probably won’t return to this item in the future.

    Easily broken

    These file boxes are fragile. I have placed 2 seperate orders for these file boxes for drive up pick up. The first order was for two file boxes. Both boxes were broken and had to be returned. I placed a second order for two more file boxes. In that order I received one file box with lid not broken and a second file box broken without a lid. Out of a total of 4 file boxes purchased and 2 trips to Target I have one useable file box. These boxes are not very sturdy.

    I really like this Waterproof File Storage Box by Brightroom. I like that it has 6 clips to ensure the lid doesn’t pop off. My file folders fit perfectly. I plan on keeping this at work to keep all of my important documents.

    Perfect for anything.

    This container is perfect for so many different items. Storing pictures my kids made or even clothes for projects I have. It holds everything and the locks keep is closed nice and tight. I definitely need more.

    Sturdy container for file storage

    Sturdy and waterproof storage tote specically for file storage. The box has an inner lip where you can use hanging file folders. The storage box is very sturdy compared with other storage totes and has 6 latches instead of the usual 2, so seems very secure.

    Great storage box

    I bought 3 of these, and LOVE the quality. It seems durable so far and is definitely pretty sealed with all the latches and thick rubber seal. I bought one to replace my deteriorating file box of important documents. The other two I’m using to hold my children’s school work, photos, cards etc., a memory box for them! I love that it’s see through as well.
