A: Hi Angie! The 5.8 Qt. Storage Bin are made of Polypropylene plastic, and were designed for general household use. We only use high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

this is not my first purchase of this style of storage bin. I love the easy click closed handles. they always fit well and snap on easily.they are snug fitting but not tight. they come in so many hadly sizes and shapes. I find them very useful for sorting things, as well as storage.

These are my favorite storage containers. I use them use to store my daughter’s hair bows so I can separate the colors and styles of bows. I also filled one with small surprises and treats to give Dr. Kierstead at Wisconsin Vision in Appleton. This way he can hand out surprises to his young patients!

This item is very similar to the Sterilite 5.7 qt. container at a significantly lower price. While the container does seem a bit “lighter” than the Sterilite version, it seems to be working well for my applications. As an added plus, it also seems to stack well with the Sterilite container, so I can mix and match them on my shelves. Not sure where the 1 quart difference comes in.

I ordered 8 of these containers. (My first order arrived opened, packaged very damaged and many missing items. It would have helped to have a packing slip, this way the items could have been retrieved by the shipping company and repackaged.) Several arrived without tops and 1 arrived broken. Also, dirty, with scratches. Did a machine package these? Customer service only gave my the option to return. I can't get to a Target nor a mail service to return. This has become an inconvenience. I tried to contact the manufacturer and they told me that they do not send out tops or replacements, that it is in Targets hands. If Target new that tops were missing, I would have preferred that my order was cancelled, or reduced to the number of items available. Please don't send out items if ithey are broken, damaged, used or incomplete. Thank you.

Every time I would try and purchase this item, the lids were missing. The employees could not find the lids in the back and this happened at a few Target locations resulting in returning the item a few times.

I love this plastic storage bin. It’s a short bin so it slides up under the bed easily (even a bed lower to the ground) but it is fairly long so it can hold a lot of things. Because everything has to be plugged in and charged now but you don’t want cords out all the time, I’ve used it as storage for all the extra cords. Tucks away and hides nicely when not needed.

This size is great for storing my sewing "tools" like scissors, clips and more. It keeps my work space organized plus, I know where my essential sewing stuffs are and have a dedicated storage space for them. I dont have to "hunt" for them when I need them! An added feature that I like is that this tote is stackable. Definitely a great tote to have for your home organization needs.
