Color Change Bad
Target just had to mess with this formula. They used to make these with gray handles/top, and were perfect for record storage (they fit around 50). I thought, with misplaced certainty, they would continue making the exact same containers. After all, that's what you expect out of the big box stores, consistency over time. Alas, they decided to change the color... to teal... from neutral gray. WHY CHANGE THE COLOR TO TEAL?!?!? It makes no sense, and I now have to find a new container. Target is stupid.

Hi SS! Thank you for your feedback on the 27 Qt. Deep Storage Bin. When these items are nested, they create a vacuum seal to ensure they don't jostle around when shipping/in transit. In order to break this seal, gently squeeze the two longest sides inward, and shake/move the product so it can begin to "unstick". Customer satisfaction and product quality are very important to us. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Air or towel dry.

Not thrilled with this product
Tried these bins because Target no longer carries the Sterilite clear view bins I’ve used for years. The Brightroom bins are very thin and crack easily. One came cracked on the corner. It’s no wonder they are cheaper. I’m definitely not thrilled with the product and can’t help wonder why Target stopped carrying the Sterilite brand.
