This is not a weighted blanket…there’s no weight to this thing. A standard comforter has more weight to it. Very disappointed especially at this price point. I’m giving it two stars because I like the look and color of it.

Came with a bit of a smell and seems like it has an oily residue. I’m still waiting for it to air out before I add it to my blanket stash. The overall quality is good, I like the way it looks. The weight is great on the lap and over the shoulders, but you don’t get that hugging-feeling weight when you lay down with it. On the bright side, it isn’t too heavy or suffocating. I love how breathable it is. My biggest complaint: it’s not machine or hand washable.

I loved this blanket at first, but after using it for a few weeks, it has started to pill. I am really disappointed in the quality for the price.

However this is stuffed nylon Jersey knit tubing which is then knitted to make a blanket, there was a somewhat chemical smell to it when it was opened. It is weighted and warm when being used, but not as “cozy” as I expected.

The feel is very soft and so comfy to curl up with. I'd never had a weighted blanket before, but the sensation is really soothing and comforting. Plus the color matches my decor so well! I really love this blanket and use it all the time!

It makes my wife feel super comfy and loves the weighted aspect of it. It has an amazingly cool look to it. As much as we love it this is not for a household with young children as my two year old likes to grab at it and pull it my the individual knits and is pulling it apart. It is really easy to get back together and fix it though. We love this blanket!

It makes the blanket so nice and comfortable. I am a person who really loves knitted blankets and really loves extra weight on me when I sleep. This blanket combines both features to really help give you a great night of sleep. The weight is just perfect - not too heavy, but heavy enough to really help you feel secure. I get the best night of sleep now that I use this blanket. The quality of the blanket is very good as well. I would highly recommend this blanket.

This blanket is amazing, I have trouble sleeping, really bad before this blanket .totally helped me I went from sleeping maybe 1 or 2 hours to actually sleeping 6 hours or more this blanket, is so calming and comfortable even though it's 12 pounds it does not feel like it it doesn't feel heavy it feels very comfy the blanket I love the way it feels I love the texture of it I don't know what I would do without it I plan on getting another one. I also love the bag it came in,its easy for stotage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tranquility Chunky Knit Weighted Blanket-12lbs is really great. I like the weight of 12 lbs and I'm on the smaller size. The way it looks on the bed is adorable with the chunky knitting. It is comforting too. The only downside for me is that I get hot with it on at night, which isn't a big deal as I just adjust and take my leg out from underneath it.

When laying with this item on, it gives you a great sense of comfort and relaxation while keep you toasty warm! The only reason I gave a 4 star is because it took the blanket awhile to air out - it had a off putting plastic smell for a few weeks. AND you are not supposed to wash, spot clean only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out not knowing how I felt about this blanket, but I am beginning to love the way it feels when I get into bed. I like how it makes my sheets feel heavy like I am in some luxurious bedding. It does feel like a hug! I have to say while I don't have any conditions that this claims to treat, I do have back problems and find it hard to sleep on my back. I feel like this blanket gives me just enough pressure to make sleeping on my back more comfortable. It is quite heavy, but when placed over your entire body while sleeping it doesn't feel too heavy. The blanket itself if long enough for me, 5' 6", to cover my whole body. Right now during the colder months I am able to put this blanket over my sheet and down comforter without being too hot. While it does have nice large holes in it due to the knit construction, I can see how this could get hot in the summer if you like to sleep with a sheet as well. The only draw back to this blanket it the smell. It has a very strong smell and has not dissipated after a week of having it.

I don’t sleep well and probably haven’t t slept through an entire night since 2011 (before my daughter was born). When I opened the Tranquillity Chunky Knit Weighted Blanket, 12 lbs. it literally had the look and feel of an area rug! So, I was still kind of skeptical. But, after sleeping with it the last few weeks, I haven’t had better nights of sleep! I don’t seem to move around as much, maybe my body is more content and at rest while asleep. My entire body feels warmer (of as my daughter says, toasty), but I do feel more relaxed! You almost could say that it feels like getting hugged or cuddled by a bear all night! The only problem that I have had is when it’s time to fold it. Obviously, with that extra weight behind the knitted blanket, it’s quite the workout for me! I do love the design, the quality and the comfort that I get from this blanket! Tranquil is definitely the word that I would associate with this weighted blanket!
