I got this as a free gift from Clinique and initially did not know how to use it, left my face sticky and needing soap to wash it off. This was a user error, I youtubed how to use it and now love it. Takes off all the makeup and does not even need soap to wash it off. All it needs is patience to wash your face with warm water a few times (2-3). Skin feels smooth and it even works on eye makeup. This is the first ever makeup remover than works both on face and eyes, prevously I had to use two separate products.

I use the cleansing balm as my first cleanse. The texture is silky and it makes cleansing a very pleasant experience. After rinsing, my skin showed no traces of dirt or makeup.

This is now a staple in my routine. I use to melt my makeup off before washing my face. Feels great on my skin and you don't need a lot to remove a full face of makeup, including mascara. I got the gift set so the large jar goes in my bathroom and the travel size goes in my toiletries bag so I always have some!

I love this product! I was utterly amazed by how well it removed makeup, even waterproof mascara and extended wear lipstick but I was beyond amazed that it rinsed with just warm water so easily and left my skin feeling clean not at all oily or with any residue! Seriously, this stuff is magic.

I wanted to like this as I love Clinique products. I bought it during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, so it was super affordable. It does work at getting makeup off, but the product smells like old cardboard or newspaper. I'm wondering if I received an old/expired one. Because of this, I'll be trying another cleanser next.

I'm really confused by the 5-star reviews. I was sent this product as a free birthday promotion. It smells like rancid Crisco and acts the same as well. To get this off from my skin, I am forced to use a soap then rinse, then soap up again and rinse (sometimes three times). Did someone return this product after emptying and keeping the contents, filling it with Crisco and sending it back to Clinique?

This is the best makeup remover I've ever used. It easily removes water resistant full coverage foundation and waterproof makeup, lipstick, etc. After I rub the product around my face (sometimes add a little warm water to the mix), I then run a clean washcloth under warm water to wipe everything off. I have sensitive skin and prone to breakouts with certain products. This product doesn't cause breakouts and my skin feels hydrated and silky smooth when I'm done.
