The set up was a lot easier than I expected. The car seat was a lot heavier than I expected as well. But as a mom, I was able to do the whole thing on my own. I love that it can turn 360. The biggest frustration with this car seat is that I absolutely cannot loosen the straps on my own with nails. I have to use the bottom of a sharpie pin to stick inside of the hole so that it’ll loosen the straps every single time because no matter how hard I press they will not loosen with my own hands. So as long as I have a tool on board with me, I can use the car seat easily but if I ever was without a tool, I would be in big trouble. The car seat does feel very safe secure and very comfortable for my baby. I would’ve given it five stars if it wasn’t so difficult to listen to the straps.

Originally I had an Evenflo rotating seat and decided to try this one when it was time to get a second for our other vehicle. I went to see them in person (Target) and liked that the Chicco feels more secure in the base. I'm a bit disappointed in the difference in recline; the Evenflo has a rotation adjustment without removing the seat whereas the Chicco seat needs to be removed from the base in order to adjust the recline (the recline adjustment is on the base under the seat). Ultimately, I realized that doesn't matter so much is every day use, but just a little thing to note. The rotation on the Chicco is very easy (although I never had a problem with the Evenflo rotation). You do have to be sure the harness release strap doesn't get stuck when rotating back and forth. One thing I do absolutely love on the Chicco is the crotch buckle that flips forward. Too many times the buckle pad on the Evenflo would come off, and every time I put baby in I had to dig the buckle from underneath her. Thank goodness that's over! Still unsure about the magnetic clip; I've seen others report it doesn't stay buckled which makes me nervous, but it hasn't happened yet on ours (fingers crossed!).

BEST CAR SEAT EVER!!! My oldest is 9, my youngest is 1, this car seat is a huge game changer for the best. I am nearly always without my husband and taking care of the kids and home, it’s been so stressful to be so slow strapping in the baby over the years, so much so that I avoided leaving the house at all…. Which doesn’t help the PPD yall…. I feel so liberated and free with this car seat!! And mental health is a 9/10 with this baby!! If you’re considering this seat, I don’t think you’ll regret it. It does cost more… but you’ll see quickly that the higher price feels very justified with how nice and EASY it is!! I would throw another 100 at its full price and still feel ok about that… honestly. This is the seat that will make your life a lot easier, and for me… that’s worth A LOT!!

As a mom who just recently had spine surgery, I was back and forth between a rotating carseat or regular one. As you can see, I chose the Chicco rotating carseat over the graco extend2fit, which I sadly ordered first (pictured) in cream. This carseat really is above and beyond my expectations as a mom who needs something accommodating after recent back surgery in December. The feel of the fabric is super smooth and comfortable with great padding for my lo. I love the ease of the rotation and the safety it provides with the key to remove the seat and being able to hear the "locking noise" to know baby is safe for both rear and forward facing. My lo is only around 25 lbs but still has a lot of use to that 65lb limit. I was a little bummed it only goes to 65lbs but totally understand the reasoning and don't mind upgrading when the time is right. Installation was not very hard, loved having the QR code to scan which took me right to the videos that helped so much. I used chicco brand with my first baby so using chicco with my second baby bring back beautiful memories and I am so happy I made the right choice. This carseat is top notch and does not disappoint at all. In regards to back surgery, this car seat helps me not have to twist my back or stand long to get baby in and out. Thanks Chicco!!!

There are so many things wrong with this car seat that I am so disappointed and regret that I bought it. I wish I could return it but it is a hassle, specially after a couple months of using it. But then it was when I had the chance to notice all the bad. 1. The fabric: My baby gets so freaking hot in it even during spring when is not that hot 2. The buckles ALWAYS get twisted, regardless if I put them in the little pocket to avoid loosing it, the straps are always twisting 3. It does not have different reclining positions. You need a huge car with a lot of room in between rows so the car seat doesn’t get out of level when being pushed back from the front seat. My husband needs some room To drive and there is NO WAY to fit this seat behind the driver seat that is the most convenient for us. I have to put it behind the passenger and travel uncomfortably because I have no leg room to fit it. And the reclining can’t be adjusted. This is beyond annoying. IF YOU HAVE A SUBARU ASCENT DO NOT BUY IT. 4. Baby kicks the lock of the base and has been able to open it a couple times 5. Hard to install and HEAVY Only good things are the rotating mechanism and the removable cup holders, but you could get that in a different car seat.

I loved the idea of this seat. the 360 feature with the non flame retardant/cleartex fabric was a seller for me. I had the revolve 360 carseat and honestly loved it. but i went down my nontoxic rabbit hole and wanted this fabric! we got a chicco cleartex myfit but it was hard to wrestle my less than helpful toddler in it. as mentioned before by another reviewer I do think chicco tried to rush this model to compete with all the other 360 seats on the market. I wanted a nuna but couldn't justify the price especially since the specs for using it rear facing and even forward facing were so low. so when this came out I Jumped on it since we loved our other chiccos! very shortly after I noticed the look into place indicators weren't catching. i cleaned the track and base per customer services recommendations and it didn't help. eventually they sent me a new seat which I hesitantly accepted and now it is again having issues with the key which is used to remove the base not popping back out. sometimes it sticks and won't let me rotate it. it is such a shame because i really loved the placement of the rotator handles. the ease of allowing her to be either forward or rear facing depending on our needs and the fabric! having a spot to put the side straps out of the way to make it easier to put my daughter into it! now I see it's being clearanced out. i am wondering if they got a new model to work out the "bugs" if they do i will be requesting to new model as this is honestly just insane!

This car seat is sooo easy to use and install! The rotating feature is so convenient for my wiggly, 99th percentile toddler. The one handed turn is intuitive and smooth. (I find the turn mechanism much easier on the Chicco than on the Evenflo Revolve.) The straps are easy to tighten and loosen and I love that the crotch buckle stays forward. I do find the magnetic buckle bulky, but I’ve never had issues with it as some other reviews mention. The adjustable headrest/ no rethread hardness is convenient and doesn’t slide down when I tighten the straps, which was a problem I had with our infant seat. The seatbelt install is so simple and easy to get perfect every time. I’ve used friends’ and family’s seats on occasion and they are so much more cumbersome and tricky to install. While the key system makes it a little more difficult to uninstall (having a 2nd person is definitely helpful but I can hold the key in with my knee while I use my hands on the latches) overall I appreciate the sturdiness. The Evenflo Revolve feels like it can pop off too easily for my liking. I also find this so much easier to install securely than the Evenflo. And while comparing to the Evenflo, it seems like the Evenflo seat is wobbly on the base. This feels totally tight and secure. No wobbles! The only con in my experience so far (used about a year) is the lower rear facing weight limit. Rotating seats are so perfect for extended rear facing, so I’m bummed it isn’t an option on this seat.
