I’ve used this powder for years!! I bought this from Target and put it on and looked ORANGE. I came here and read the reviews and they are all correct. This is terrible. Awful. I’m orange.

I have been using NW20 for over 20 years. The new color is too orange! Otherwise I like the new design of the compact. But the color annoys me.

Awful! Mac needs to bring back the old formula - I’ve been wearing shade NC 25 for 20 years, and the new formula is straight ORANGE. It’s terrible. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
This is the worst. MAC lost me as a 20 year buyer

I actually like this brand…I have been using this brand for years and all of a sudden my shade (NC43) is gone. The sales lady suggested this (NC44), and now I’m traveling with my face darker than my neck!
They changed a good thing.

They changed the formula. The colors are way different now as well. I’ve been wearing this powder for years and now I’m thinking about changing brands. So disappointing.
Heads up, folks: re talc in cosmetics

In December 2024 the FDA has proposed a ruling requiring companies to test their products for possible asbestos contamination in talc, a common ingredient in makeup. It seems MAC has gotten ahead of this by getting rid of the talc in their foundation powder, hence the formula change and the wild swing in shades. Good luck to everyone on their quest for new foundation powder, though note well: the makeup you find that works may be in queue for a formula change as well.

I hate the new formula. It looks really soft and matte going on but with 20 mins of it setting it gets super chalky. The powder is not full coverage eaither. Super drying doesn't stick to primer correctly it needs the TALC BACK !!!!!! It sets ugly under the eyes aswell. Can't even use the new powders on bridal eaither it sucks so much.

MAC has changed the shades of these powders...I have used NW20 for 20+ years and suddenly the shade is different! See photo for comparison, these products are both labeled NW20 and theres a big difference in the colors.
Love it!

Love the new studio fix powder, coverage is amazing and holds up well throughout the day on my oily skin. Also doesn’t cause me any breakouts like the old formula did.
