I really wanted this to work and liked the idea of it but wished that I had read the negative reviews. I’m super diligent with drying everything after my baby’s bath to prevent molding. Despite that, it stopped working after only a few use and found water in the battery enclosure. You would think it would be designed to be waterproof.

Check Battery Setup: Ensure the batteries are fresh, inserted correctly (observe polarity), and that the battery compartment is tightly sealed—this helps keep water out. 2. Release Any Trapped Air in the Pump. If you hear the pump running but see no water flow, it may be air blocking it. Try shaking the toy gently out of the water, then place it back in and restart. If that doesn’t work, soak the pump in water while running, remove it, and wait at least 20 seconds with the pump still on. I loved this at first, it's cute and fun. We bought it for vacation as the tub didn't have a hand held shower attachment for rinsing baby and it was fantastic - when it worked. Im not sure if it just eats batteries or I got a dud but it seems pretty ridiculous that it only lasted one bath with no soap.

I thought this was so cute! We used this in the newborn stage, the only thing I don't like about it is it has almost no water pressure which makes sense but my baby had a full head full of hair so this really didn't do anything for getting shampoo out of his hair. Other than that it was nice! Just keep in mind if your baby has a lot of hair it may not work well for you!

Absolutely not safe. Water penetrates and batteries leak. Why this is even sold!?! Hose gets moldy. Don’t buy this for your child unless you want to poison them with battery acid.

The Yookidoo Elephant Baby Shower/Bath Toy is such a cool device! I love that the product can be used from infancy up, which means you get years of use out of it. In a newborn tub it is nice to have one hand free while you use the shower sprayer with the other. It also works awesome once your child is old enough to sit on their own in the bathtub because it makes it super easy to rinse out the shampoo from their hair. Now that my child is a bit older, she loves playing with it in the tub. She loves spraying her toys or the shower walls, and she seems to have a lot of fun helping get clean. I love how easy it is to operate. This is a really helpful tool to have during bathtime, and I would recommend this to any new (or current!) mama looking for ways to help streamline or add a little extra fun to their bathtime routine.

Not a fan. I’m not sure what it is but it stops working-is the battery usage very high for this product OR does my toddler use it and a connection inside stops working?? Not sure. Battery compartment door is a PAIN to remove. You use a coin and even then the tension is tremendously tight which is great so the batteries don’t corrode but I have destroyed the “coin slot” trying to open this compartment. It needs 2-4 batteries (I forgot) and I have gone through so many batteries in one week for this one gadget. It’s not worth it in the end.

This is so cool and so easy, and a great transition for my toddler to start trying out showers. He normally hates any water going on his hair, but this baby shower he loves and washes his hair himself now. No more fights! The towel was soft and the little hook was too cute, trying to find a perfect spot to hang that. Definitely recommend.
