Thick but so dirty
Ok…this is a nice THICC rug. It is extremely heavy (9x12) and took two of us to drag it in and lay it nicely. However it comes extremely dirty. Like left a trail of dirt where we dragged it from the living room to the bedroom. Shaking it out was difficult because of how heavy it is. Vacuuming was difficult due to its texture. But I’m not kidding - we spent like 6 hours cleaning it. Shaking out a small portion and then sweeping, vacuuming and moping. There was dirt EVERYWHERE. I’m talking empty the canister vacuum 2-3 times. Obviously jute is a natural fiber. I expect some shedding and some dirt but this was insane. Also we had so much trouble with shipping. It took over 2 weeks to arrive because fedex told us there was a problem on the seller’s end. If you’re willing to clean it…it’s a nice rug. Idk though, wish I got something that was lower effort.
