Valvoline DEXRON VI/MERCON LV
My Dealer reminded me that it was time to change the transmission oil and filter in my 2010 GMC Sierra 4x4. I will do my own oil and filter change and always use Valvoline ATF and have never disappointed with the outcome.

Smooth shifting
8l90 tranny bucking and shifting HARD. Drain, dropped and cleaned pan & both magnets (sludged!!!). Installed new filter & original gasket back and filled with 11.2ish quarts of merc vi. Smoother shifting definitely. Can’t wait to run it 10k miles and do another drain & fill

Performs better than OEM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have noticed a considerable improvement on my 6T75 transmission when switching over from OEM to Valvoline. I keep on top of my fluid changes and know how important it is to do especially with this particular transmission. On OEM it always did a somewhat sluggish upshift from 2nd to 3rd and now with Valvoline it has smoothed out quite a bit. There is also a noticeable increase in power transfer which tells me this fluid is more efficient and provides better pressure than OEM. Valvoline is all I will use for my SUV, whether it's transmission fluid, engine oil, or engine coolant, nothing performs better!

Best for 6l80 Silverado
I had a tranny flush done at a local shop on my Silverado. They used a universal fluid which supposedly met Dex6 requirements. Not that great. Especially in cold weather. Bought this as a replacement after 15k miles. Transmission shifts like butter. Cold weather performance is magnitudes better.

Excellent quality, great price.
Excellent quality transmission fluid. It’s compatible with my Ford and my Chevy, making it simple to keep one fluid for topping off both.

This is the good stuff!
I've used this in my 2005 2500HD since I bought the truck with 20k on it now at 280k changed every other year maybe 40k I'd put on in two years, I pull skidloaders, bass boats, form trailers ,mini excavator, you name it and 80% of the time has a trailer behind it , and has been flawless to this day, if you aren't using it and changing filter and fluid you should be!

Great for GM vehicles. It is the only brand I will use.
I use this in two Chevy vehicles - a 2005 Colorado and 2015 Trax. The Trax takes 3-qts to drain and fill. The Colorado requires 6-qts when the pan is dropped and filter replaced. Both vehicles perform at higher levels after an ATF service. I have used Valvoline ATF for many years and will continue to.
