Mattel Games Spin-Off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spinoff is an exciting marble racing game. you can play different versions of the game depending on how many players you have. We played the two player game and and this version you each choose of colored tonk and 6 marbles to drop into the vortex and whoever lands all six of their marbles first wins. I played this game with my 5 and 1/2 year old son who learned pretty quickly how to drop the marbles and to make them go into the vortex. It has definitely kept his interest and mine as well. The three and four player games are the same except each person has less marbles than the two player game. This game was easy to put together and is a welcome addition to our family game night. from opening the box to putting it together and playing our first game took less than 2 minutes. I definitely recommend this game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (and adults) enjoyed the game. It took a bit to grasp the concept, but it was fun once we did. We have up on the tongs and spun them with our hands. The unpredictability made the competition more fun. It also stores more compact than it looks so that was a plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old picked out this game after seeing it online. My kids really like this game (5,8, and 12). You use tweezers to pick up the balls and then spin them down the tube, if 4 balls land on the platform you win! I like that it is quick and action packed, everyone is engaged and having fun. I like that it helps develop fine motor skills in a fun way, helping to develop those fingers for writing!

It takes a little bit to get the hang of how to get the marbles to spin and hit the opponents marbles. Once we got the hang of it, the game goes quick. Its nice to have a quick game with my son. He also enjoys playing with the game on his own and practice spinning the marbles. It also has quick assembly.

He was busy playing this for hours. The set-up was a little difficult however everything else was wonderful. Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy setup and rules. My 7 year old son loves the game. He is a very mechanically focused kid and is trying to figure out a strategy for dropping the marbles the best way to fill the slots. The time to finish a game is perfect for the shorter attention span of my 5 year old.

There was a learning curve with getting the balls to spin around the vortex m, but once we all mastered it the competition was on! It’s fun competing and watching to see whose marble makes it down the vortex, if any will collide, land in a spot, or even knock another marble off the basket. My kids ask to play it every day. Assembly was easy, and all the parts are high quality.

Once we had put the game together and decided what colors we were going to be, it was just ok. We tried many times to get the marbles to spin in the vortex and all they would do is fall to the bottom tray. Occasionally the marbles would go through the vortex but you had to really measure the right angle for the marble to be placed in order for it to spin. Overall my 7 year old said it was ok and played it 4 times and said she was done. The game itself was easy to put together. It just snapped together. The colors were nice but other than that I would have to say not very entertaining.
