solid curtains
I just received the curtains and hung them a few days ago. They look good. I like the look but will not be able to know if they help with energy costs until the weather gets colder.

Great Solution to Single Pane Windows!
Not only do these curtains keep the heat and cold out when I want them to, they also have greatly reduced the noise which comes from the busy street I live on. An fantastic solution to my single pane windows! Highly recommend!

Decided to buy these because this is the coldest winter in PA we've had in years. They are making a difference.

Perfect choice
Love the look of the curtains Very classic and love the material Does not block out totally, but very satisfied Bought the linen color and found they were too yellow Returned the first pair and ordered the white curtains and was 100 percent pleased The wrinkles are going away just by letting them hang.

Average Energy Saver
Haven't been able to hange them since the rod is on back order. Quality is average. I have other insulated drapes that are much ""heavier"" with a separate additional liner, and I was hoping these would be the same quality.

insulated curtains
It can get really cold in Minnesota, so I needed a good quality curtain to keep the draft out. I'm very very satisfied with your product.

Good deal for the money
I bought these to insulate my kitchen window. The material is a bit stiff and the lining not as thick as I would have liked, but overall this product should be adequate. The color was dead on as shown online which sometimes is not the case.

Too Short ans Wrinkled
I bought 5 pair of the striped sage and 5 pair of the solid sage curtains to hang exactly as they are dispoayed in the catalog. However, every single solid panel was exactly 1"" shorter than the related striped panels. Which means, in lieu of returning them (I love the colors), I am having to shorted each pair (10 panels) of the striped curtains. Had I know this ahead of time, I would not have bought. Beware of pairing striped panels with solid ones. They do look great now but ""so much work"". Also, they are nearly impossible to iron the packaging wrinkles out.

Nice curtains,but....
It was what my wife wanted. Does not block the sun like we thought. Had a horrible smell that lasted for over 2 months. It was well made and looks nice.

Too much work
I like the design and the thought of it being washable; however, it is all cotton which makes it needing ironed. Plus the fact that it has to be line dried is not impressive to me; I like it when they can be placed in the dryer. This was not included in the description of the curtain. More work now in ironing the curtains! Also, after washing them, I noticed that they do not hang properly on one side. Apparently, they were not seamed good.

Inconsistent length
I bought the sage striped, grommet-top curtains. The colors and design were exactly what I have been looking for 2 years. Unfortunately, it is impossible to remove all the wrinkles. I tried EVERYTHING and they are still more wrinkled than I would like. The biggest problem was that, after hanging the striped, I decided to buy the solid sage to hang on the outside of the striped. The first order I received of the solid were 2"" shorter than the striped. I returned those and was told they would be ""hand picked"" for proper length. Although closer to the correct length, they are still 1"" shorter than the striped. I have 5 windows and am wondering if it is worth the hassle even if the look is great. I am currently awaiting a third pair. If they work, I will attempt to buy 4 more pairs. I really don't want to hem 5 pair of curtains. If I was willing to do that, I would have made them myself.

Excellent curtains
I opted for these curtains because our family room window faces west, and I was concerned about the amount of heat/light we'd get in the summer. The curtains have been great blocking out the very brightest sun during the late part of the day. They also provide excellent privacy at night. They are well-constructed, the color was excellent and even throughout on two pairs I bought, and they were very easy to hang. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Perfect for our new family room
I bought these curtains for the heat-reducing properties of the insulation, as our new family room faces south and catches all the hot sun in the afternoons. They are perfect! The color (sage) is even throughout and the material is perfect, no flaws found anywhere. The grommets made them the easiest curtains to hang that I've ever had. I did not notice any strange odors in the curtains. They were wrinkled upon removal from the packaging, but steam ironing took care of most of it and I anticipate the rest will ""fall"" out over time. I'm very pleased with the product and would recommend it to others.

Wrinkles are Impossible to Get Out
I read the other reviews and thought 'how hard could it be to get the wrinkles out"". Well, now I know. I ironed 4 panels for about 2 hours. They look like I never touched them with an iron. I will be taking them to the cleaners to see if they can steam them, because I actually like the curtains. I still have 4 more panels in the box and may send them back.

two pairs, two different experiences
The first pair--smooth, soft backing, great color. Loved them, but a bit skimpy for a slider. Ordered another pair to hang with. Second pair, everything bad. Panels didn't match, lining was sketchy and the light showed thru the marks. The smell, even after three washings was atrocious. The wrinkles were impossible. Couldn't believe the difference in the two pairs! maybe we got a newer one first, and an older one that has been improved ,second, but returned both with no problem except the bother of it all.

Cant get wrinkles out
Ordered double wide because I couldnt get two sets that matched in color or length. Wish double width came in the 95"" length but they are behind couch. Ironed as best i could and hung hoping wrinkles would fall out but will probably have to take them to cleaners and pay for pressing.
