WORX Nitro 40V 12'' Cordless Snow Thrower, Electric Snow Shovel, (2 X 4.0 Ah Battery & Charger Included)

I have a bunch of other WORX tools and they have always been great. I was looking for something to clear off my deck since a snowblower isn’t an option and ran across this. I got it and it works as advertised. It is not a 13HP snowblower but works for a few inches in the driveway or you can dig into a bigger chunk a little at a time. Throws it pretty far. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations!

Works well as a small snow blower. Tried on 2-3 inches and was good Would benefit from 2 small wheels A bit heavier than I anticipated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works just as described. This is very well made and has plenty of power. You cannot direct the snow to be thrown as precisely as a larger snowblower but it does throw it a decent distance. The only problem I had is that it weighs a little bit more than I expected. I have a gravel driveway and no real room to blow a lot of snow because my house is on one side and neighbor's house 3 ft from the other side of the drive. Not sure how deep in amount of snow this will work easily on yet. If you have a paved drive that has not very large this will work wonderful. Being's that I am using it on gravel I have to keep it lifted off just a hair, this is where it becomes slightly heavy. I also do not have a garage, so have to store in the basement and it is easy to get in and out into my driveway. The foramp batteries work great, and I can use them with my other worx yard tools.

A great machine for, much easier for my wife to use when I am not at home.

I’ve only been able to use it one time so far, but it worked as I’d hoped it would. The shovel is a ‘mini snow blower’, which means it will move snow very well, but don’t expect it to launch it as far as a snow blower will. If I could change one thing, it would be the method of changing the direction of the discharge chute. Having a means to change the direction without bending over would be preferable.

I didn’t really know what to expect. It does the job with light snow but does not throw snow very far. It is very heavy and not comfortable to handle even while acknowledging that it does the VERY basic job that it is intended to do.

This tool has plenty of power to clear a two car driveway without issues. I received this after the January 2026 snow storm in Ohio and used it to clear the remaining snow from my driveway and front sidewalk. While it is rated for only a few inches of snow this thing powered thru the remaining 12 inches of snow in other half of driveway which is more compacted than when I had to shovel the first day.

Received photo proof from that waste of a company fedex, confirming it was delivered. Unfortunately, it wasn't my house in the picture. Fed ex has done nothing so far, and when I explained to target what happened, I was told they consider it delivered and that I should dispute the charges. That's it??? Low effort and completely tone deaf. I'll have to think twice before shopping at target again.

Performance excellent, however Robert has medical issues that make it impossible to use. He finally took it out for a few minutes this afternoon, long enough to know he’s unable to manage it. Blessings, JoAnn S.

Have purchased many other Worx tools over the years and have always been pleased. The 40V snow shovel was no exception. Received 5" of light snow the day after the snow shovel arrived. Couldn't wait to give it a try the next morning. Was amazed at how it worked. Great for cleaning our sidewalks and deck. Not sure of its ability in a heavy, wet snow but for light work or several inches of snow it was fantastic. So much easier than a regular snow shovel. Another great Worx product for my garage.

Have used this four times so far this winter, and have easily cleared up to 6 inches of snow from my driveway and sidewalks with no issues. The weight took a little getting used to at first, but my technique has improved with each use, so it's now much less of a concern. Would give it 5 stars instead of 4 if Worx designed a method for unfolding it that used something other than an Allen screw, such as a locking pin.

This shovel is awesome, worked great in the storm we just had, 7 in. Of snow and it cut right through it. I will say it took me awhile to figure out the right method for me, once I got it started I stood directly behind it and just pushed it along. I'm 76 yes old by the way. Very impressed.. I also have the weed eater and the blower with I also am impressed with.

A little awkward to use if you are not a taller person. The manual for use of this product is horrible. Pictures are good, but most people can still directions. Had to go to U tube to see it used.

I just used this snow shovel yesterday for the first time. WOW!! It was very easy to use, a bit heavy at first until I got comfortable. Then it was the best shovel I've ever used. I would suggest that more people playing with snow in the winter should get this shovel. It will turn out to be a great toy, just like what I have.

The first time I used the cordless shovel, it worked well for a short period of time, then stopped working. I reread the directions, tried again. The unit stopped working after a few passes of light snow and will not restart.

This was so easy to put together. Light weight and moved snow easily and quickly. Even though I have a full size blower I will use this much more often. Love it.

It would be great if I could get hold of someone about my brushlesss snow blower. I would like to get a part number for the bolt that’s for where it folds up

I have only used my new Worx Power Shovel once in heavy snow about 4 -5 inches deep. It worked fine for removing snow off my straight sidewalk where I could deflect the snow to the left or right. It was a bit more difficult to get into corners on my steps and required an old fashioned hand powered snow shovel for that. Two other problem areas are that the knob to turn the deflector blades is a bit difficult to move and that the unit at 18 pounds is a bit heavy for this septuagenarian to maneuver.
