Q: You said that you could use it for your "beloved smore nights." But in the literature that came with the fire pit, it emphasised more than once that it is NOT to be used for food. It is for heat ONLY.

  • A: No — if the documentation for the GDFStudio Jax Outdoor Lightweight Concrete Wood Burning Fire Pit says it’s for heat only and not to be used for food, then you should not use it to roast marshmallows or cook.

Disappointed

This is a beautiful fire pit. But we have one disappointment. The Target description of the item says that it can be used for your "beloved 'smores." But the item itself comes with a warning to not use it for food of any kind. It is to be used ONLY for heat. If I had known that, I would not have bought it. But we had already opened and destroyed the packaging before reading the warning. So, if you purchase this, know that it is perfect for asthetics, but not for hotdogs or `sm

Its very nice. But have not used it yet,a piece of a stone chipped off from shippment tho,so now there is a white chip area on the pit ,but overall it is nice.
