    I had to return my

    I had to return my fireplace and am waiting on a credit to my account. The item was too small for my space and I decided to go with gas logs instead. They picked it up 2 weeks ago but so far no refund yet They did send me the return label when I requested so I am hopeful this will be resolved as it should

    It worked as described but

    It worked as described but I didn't like how the heating element stayed orange. My husband said it reminded him of a toaster oven :/ I ended up returning. Also flames aren't very realistic

    I bought 2, Heat Surge,

    I bought 2, Heat Surge, fireplaces years ago that finally quit working and my two oak frames sat empty till I read a advertisement for electric fireplaces on Facebook and decided to look for inserts and found that you folks made the fireplace itself for Heat Surge so I bought the newest version, made a small adjustment to reset the wooden frame and slipped it in easily. After easily working the first insert for a few weeks I bought the second on and upgraded the second unit. Flawless switch over to these new versions.

    The directions were terrible -

    The directions were terrible - I called and the woman while kind could not help. She asked if I had looked for videos online. I had, and there were none with your model. I followed the directions when building the wood box - making sure that I had the correct model, only to find out that when it came to placing the fireplace in the surround it was not the correct size. Really disappointed. For what I paid, I expected things to be correct.

    When I received my fireplace I checked everything out and found that there was a mishap while putting the fireplace together and it wasn’t up to par for the money spent on it. But I am pleased with how fast and efficiently they resolved the issue.

    The heat output is amazing.

    The heat output is amazing. The lifelike appearance is comforting. This replaced a woodburning insert. I was tired of the mess,ash and soot plus getting firewood cut, stacked, stored, brought to the house, burned, cleaning up was more than I could now handle. This model stated it could/would heat 1000 square feet. I will hope it does! Also have a propane furnace to compensate if the weather becomes extreme.
