DHP Paloma Upholstered Single Sofa Chair, Textured Navy Fabric

I had some trouble moving the box from my garage to my living room to unpack but besides that I was able to assemble it and position it myself. I was confused at first because I couldn’t find the pillows but after reading the instructions, I realized they were stored in a compartment on the actual chair. It’s very firm and comfortable and perfect for lounging and watching tv or reading a book. Also, I love the color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the DHP Paloma Upholstered Single Sofa Chair for free from Influenster to review, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The chair's large tufted square seat, textured microfiber fabric, and sturdy engineered wood frame create a comfortable and stylish addition to any living room. The included bolster pillow and non-slip back cushion provide excellent lumbar support, making it perfect for relaxation. What's great is its versatility. It can be used as an oversized ottoman coffee table or footrest, and with additional corner chairs (sold separately), it transforms into a low-profile modular couch. The assembly was a breeze, taking 15 minutes or less, allowing for swift enjoyment in any family room, bedroom, or home. Overall, I highly recommend this cozy couch chair with its spacious seating area and high-density foam padding—it truly feels like sitting on a cloud.

I wasn’t so sure about whether the back would be supportive enough to really feel like a sofa, but DHP did a really good job with the design of this. It comes with a heavy bolster w/non-slip bottom and the rectangular soft pillow actually zips together with the bolster so it’s not shifting or sliding around. You can easily move it to put it where you want it, but it feels sturdy like a fixed couch back when leaning against it. I’m a HUGE fan of smart modular design and this is it! On its own, it can be used as a chair or an ottoman (the bolster/pillow can be stored inside when using as an ottoman). If you purchase three of these, you can configure them as a loveseat size couch with ottoman, a chaise, a full couch, an L-shaped sectional, or even use as a futon-like bed for visitors (more comfy than a pull-out couch). Assembly is fast and simple… just screw the legs into place and zip the rectangular pillow to the bolster. The fabric is thick/durable, but feels soft. The color is listed as ‘navy’, but it’s really what more people would describe as ‘new navy’ (not as dark as traditional navy) and it’s one of my favorite colors for upholstered furniture (neutral enough without being boring). Highly recommended!
