pretty but very thin

Nice color palette and pattern with whimsical images. However, this rug is very thin, more like a tapestry to hang on the wall. May need a rug pad that is suitable for outdoor use, but the pad suggested by Rugs.com is more like a net and will not provide substance. Will look out for suggestions to fix this issue.
