Push them back into place or reapply with strong adhesive. That usually stabilizes the stool 2. Level the Legs Manually Metal frames can shift during assembly—one leg might be shorter. Place the stool on a flat surface. Use a shim or journal your measurement: measure the shortest leg’s deficit and mark the others. Slightly file or sand the taller legs until the stool sits evenly
