Perfect Rug for my living room. I encourage folks to order a swatch first. Then, no surprises on color or texture. I knew exactly what I was getting, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rug. It's the perfect patterned neutral: not too overwhelming pattern for a small room and plush enough to feel lovely on bare feet.

I'm saving up to buy this rug for a bedroom, so my review is based on the sample I ordered. This is a dense and heavy rug that feels soft and delicious underfoot. The colors to me look like shades of grey against the off-white background of a traditional Moroccan rug. I do expect it to shed, but in my experience that's unavoidable with this type of rug.

I ordered the 10 x 14 size for my large living room. It is beautiful! It looks stunning in the space and is super soft. It feels very well made, and I'm glad I moved forward buying it. I hesitated for a while based on the price and reviews about it shedding, but it's really high quality and beautiful.

Like others on here, shedding was a big problem the first year. It gets better though so hang in there. BUT the color. It's NOT what you see on the site at all. It's mostly a very light brown with dark brown patterning and not a pretty light brown background - it looks old, dingy and not at all pretty. I am so disappointed in the color that I've going to give it the charity shop. I tried to sell it but no one wants it.

this rug is incredible in it's simple design that feels both on trend and classic. ordering several runners for a client based on the swatch. i'm not concerned with shedding, i've had many rugs do this exact thing and it slows after awhile. hallmark of a good quality rug in some ways.

This is the best rug I have ever seen and the price is incredible. Everyone should buy one of these.

I second the review that the rug sheds very badly. I have the rug upstairs in a non-high traffic area and I am still having terrible problems with the shedding. It's like I have a shedding dog in the house. I find the rug fibers everywhere. Even downstairs! I did quite a bit of research before buying this rug. I read that hand knotted rugs rarely shed. I'm wondering if this is really hand knotted. My guess is that it is machine made. I have bought machine made rugs from the likes of pottery barn and crate and barrel in the past and I was not happy with them. They also shed. I thought I was buying a higher quality product. Unfortunately it is just the same or worse. For the price of this rug I expected a much higher quality product. I'm not sure what to do. I think I'm going to have to throw it away. I cant live with the shedding.

The fiber quality is excellent however the color representation online does not match the actual product. Thought it would be ivory/white/ cream with gray. Turned out to be light brown with darker brown patterns. Hope it's ok to use in bathroom because it is the only room that it will match.

We got the 8X10 for our family room, and it is beautiful and so soft. We have not had any issues with shedding yet, but we don't walk a lot on the rug.

I hate to write a negative review about this beautiful rug (because it does look great & feel great), but if you are looking for a rug in a high traffic room...this is not the one for you. We have this in our family room & it looks amazing, BUT...between myself, my kids & any friends we have over, it's like we have a crazy shedding dog around & there is not only hair all over our clothes but also little balls of wool everywhere all over the house!!! We've had it for about a month now & it's not getting any better. Even if it slows down on shedding, the nature of the pile of wool is such that it will always attract itself to darker clothes if you sit on it. This will be moving to our master bedroom as soon as we find a replacement for the family room.
