Where do I begin. First off, the wood was too hard for screws provided to properly penetrate. The paint on the wood was hopelessly fragile and thinly applied. Some of the pre-drilled holes for the screws were so off kilter that one of the long screws penetrated the front of the cabinet. Some of the holes that WERE there, were in the wrong place and had been re-drilled. On the instructions BOTH sets were shown with the wrong holes marked out with a bit X! The hinge that holds the lid up is a flimsy thing that can be expected to break. The color of the screws is brass. If you'll look at the picture you'll see that six of them can be seen from the front and it really looks cheap...which it is. Stop reading this review right NOW...and go look for something other than this. It costs $80 as of this review's date and isn't worth $20. Seriously. It's bad.
